A fan at the PGA Championship in Louisville sent X users on a frenzy after picking up a snake at Valhalla on Sunday.
In a video posted by Old Row Golf, a fan in a blue polo was seen picking the reptile up at the golf course. After grabbing the snake by its head, the fan set it on the grass and gestured for it to slither away.
While he received an ovation from surrounding fans, the bold bystander was also praised by others on social media.
'Southern boys are built differently,' one user said, while another pointed out how 'ballsy' the act was.
A third fan commented on the clip with two laughing-crying emojis and two flexed bicep emojis behind them.

Users praised the fan for his act of bravery, while others were not thrilled with it
'Yeah, I'm not a fan. No thanks,' a fourth user objected.
Meanwhile, one quipped that he 'took it back to church I guess.'
Another user praised the fan stating: 'Looks like it was a pretty good size. Out sunning.'
The snake was not the only unwanted visitor that had to be removed on Sunday afternoon. Hours later, a much bigger snake slithered onto the second hole of the course.
Like the man from the viral video, another bystander - later identified as Jacob from Shelbyville - picked the snake up from the green and placed it back in the woods.
