Anthony Edwards took a brutal swipe at Jamal Murray after the Timberwolves' NBA playoff win over the Nuggets, claiming he had the Denver star 'in handcuffs' during Sunday's game.
Minnesota produced a historic turnaround against Denver in Game 7 of their Western Conference Semifinal, recovering from a 15-point halftime deficit - and a 20-point deficit in the second half - to snatch a 98-90 win and eliminate the reigning champions.
That comeback was the largest ever recorded in Game 7 of an NBA playoff series, with Edwards scoring 12 points, eight rebounds and four assists after the interval to help the Timberwolves set up a Finals showdown with the Dallas Mavericks.
However, the victory was even sweeter for Edwards given he got one over bitter rival Murray, who finished with a game-high 35 points despite Denver's shortcoming.

Edwards was heard saying that he had Murray 'in handcuffs' following Sunday night's game
The Timberwolves star revealed that Murray was 'talking s**t' following their playoff defeat to the Nuggets last year, meaning he couldn't resist mocking him after avenging it on Sunday.
As he made his way back to the locker room at Ball Arena, Edwards was heard saying after responding to a joke about handcuffs: 'I had Jamal in handcuffs!'
According to the Minnesota shooting guard, Murray taunted the Timberwolves in a Denver cocktail lounge after navigating past them in the first round of last season's playoffs.
'He was talking s**t,' Edwards told ESPN about the infamous encounter on Sunday. 'He was telling Mike [Conley], "I'm sick of you, you can't guard me," and all that.
'I told him, "We'll be back. You'll see us again when we're fully loaded."'
Edwards also appeared to clash with Nikola Jokic towards the end of the Timberwolves' remarkable comeback win.

Jokic appeared to be irritated by Edwards when, as the clock ticked down into th final 30 seconds, the Timberwolves star taunted Nuggets fans by waving goodbye to them.
As Minnesota prepared to shoot a free throw, Jokic bumped into Edwards and said something to him - which was not clear on the broadcast.
The Wolves, who got 23 points each from Karl-Anthony Towns and Jaden McDaniels, advanced to the Western Conference finals for the first time in exactly 20 years.
