A Frontier Airlines passenger forced an entire flight to deboard after she refused to comply with exit row instructions.
Video of the incident posted to TikTok by Travel with Tia shows the unidentified woman visibly angry with airline employees as fellow passengers pleaded with her to get off the plane.
The woman continued to insist that she wouldn't leave and was eventually escorted off by police officers at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina.
As she was removed, all passengers on board had deboard while she was taken away in a police car.
For passengers seated in an exit row, the FAA requires that they read instructions and verbally comply with the physical duties of assisting others in case of an emergency.
An angry Frontier Airlines passenger (left) refused to get off the plane after she failed to comply with exit row instructions and fought with staff
It is unclear exactly when this took place but video of the incident was posted on May 9.
DailyMail.com has contacted Frontier Airlines and Charlotte Douglas International Airport for confirmation.
A TikToker, Travel With Tia, who recorded the fight, explained what happened during the altercation.
'This lady right here, when she first got on the plane and acknowledged the exit row, she said, "Oh, I'm not going to save anybody. If something happens, I'm going to save myself",' she said.
'That was her attitude throughout the seating process. And I already knew something was about to pop off when she had that attitude.'
Video of the dramatic incident shows the woman with glasses, dressed in black, start to argue with a female flight attendant.
The passenger says: 'Yeah, she talking to me - what is the problem?' as she points toward another flight attendant.
She asks the other flight attendant: 'Cause she don't wanna tell us her name?' as the airline worker tries to speak to her.
While she places her drink on the floor of the plane, the flight attendant says: 'If it's gonna be a problem-' before the woman interrupts her.
'A problem? What's the problem?' as the flight attendant explains what is expected of them in the exit row.
'We ain't got no problem with that. We understand we gotta help people get off the plane and help Betty White if something happens,' the passenger replies as she points toward the other flight attendant.
Passengers are heard laughing in the background as the woman repeats: 'What's the problem? We agreed.'
The flight attendant walks away as the passenger continues: 'You wasting your breath. Is they gonna take this plane off the ground?'
The female passenger then sets her phone on the ground and mumbles: 'Get out my damn face,' as she picks up a snack and turns toward the other flight attendant.
'Did you ask her to agree? You ain't doing your job,' the passenger says as the employee places her hand in front of the passenger's face.
'You better get out my face is what you need to do, Betty,' the passenger says as she opens up her snack.
The two then exchange more words before the Frontier attendant walks away.
The passenger starts to enjoy her food as people around her chuckle and look around the plane.
'Girl, relate? No,' the woman says before another employee approaches her.
With a piece of paper in hand, the airline employee tries to talk to the upset woman and says: 'They said you were not listening-.'
The passenger cuts her off and says: 'That lady came and asked us, we got witnesses, we all agreed!'
The employee then waves over a flight attendant as the passenger adds: 'Yeah, because we all agreed. Everybody can witness that.'
'And my grandson is getting off, out of school, and his mama took a flight to Mexico, and I'm not getting off this plane,' the passenger continues before the captain makes an announcement over the speaker.
Another clip then shows the angry passenger raise her voice at the employee and say: 'No, that is, no, my grandson is four-years-old and he's getting out of school.'
The employee then makes her way to the front of the plane as the angry woman continues to fight and remains in her seat.
The captain then gets back on the speaker and says: 'Ladies and gentleman, we'll be underway here shortly, we gotta take care of this issue. Law enforcement will be arriving.'
The passenger then chats with others around her and says: 'She is lying!'
A clip shows another Frontier employee, dressed in a neon green shirt and dark bucket hat, approach the passenger.
'I'm gonna ask you one more time, nicely, to get off, if not, we're going to deboard the plane and police will come and escort you off,' he says.
Now, with her cell phone on her ear, the agitated passenger says that she is going to call her attorney.
'Because we didn't do anything wrong and they asked us to agree and we did. We got a whole crew, staff, we got a whole crew,' she says as she points to the people around her.
'Ma'am, I understand, but we'll talk about it outside,' the male employee responds.
'But what are we getting deboarded-- my grandson is in Texas getting out of school at three-o'-clock.'
'That's fine, I understand, but we have to step outside the aircraft to talk about it,' the employee says.
With her phone still on her ear, the woman says: 'Sir, no, that's not legal. I'm getting my attorney on the phone,' as that employee walks away.
The pilot then makes his way to her seat and tries to talk to her.
She was eventually escorted off the plane by police officers in handcuffs while angry passengers watch on from inside the airport after they deplaned
'You're inconveniencing everybody else,' the pilot tells her as fellow passengers start to get rowdy.
The pilot and the disgruntled passenger continue to exchange words as he points toward the front of the plane.
Soon, another female passenger, dressed in a jean jacket with pearls on it, approaches the woman and tries to tell her to exit the aircraft.
'You gonna have to book another flight,' the passenger tells her.
The angry woman replies: 'But my grandson!'
Another upset passenger chimes in: 'You not getting there regardless and neither are we if you don't get off,' as others agree with her.
More passengers start to get up and try to talk the woman into getting off the plane as the woman continues to sit in her seat.
Eventually, two cops make their way down the aisle and approach the raging passenger.
She asks the pilot: 'Are you arresting me?'
'I'm the pilot,' he replies as the cops intervene.
A final clip shows frustrated passengers make their way back inside the airport as the woman is seen exiting the plane in handcuffs, escorted by multiple officers.
The video ends with her being walked to a police car on the runway as they inspect her belongings.
It is unclear if the other passengers got back on the flight and made it to their destination. It is also unclear if the woman was charged.
