A woman fired eight gunshots at staff in a Texas McDonalds after she became irate when her order was 'missing hash browns and biscuits.'

The angry 32-year-old woman from San Antonio, Samantha Anthony, allegedly fired multiple gunshots from her car into the drive-thru window where employees were working, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Anthony was arrested and is currently held in police custody with a bond of $75,000. She was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

The incident occurred on December 30, 2023, when Anthony drove to a McDonald's restaurant just south of downtown, when she began complaining about her order to staff.

She arrived at 5 am and left the restaurant but came back a half hour later to tell employees that she was missing items from her order.

She told them she did not receive her food, so employees checked surveillance footage that shows Anthony being handed her order.

One employee claimed the wrappers from her meal were clearly resting in her lap, however, Anthony persisted with this claim.

'When I was talking to her, I noticed that she had the wrappers on her lap. I was just like, "Can I see the bag?" Because I noticed the bag,' the employee, who chose to remain anonymous, told KENS-TV. '(She said), 'You didn't give me a bag either,' even though I could see it on her lap.'

Anthony became extremely disgruntled, even retrieving her boyfriend to complain alongside her.

'She was hopping from the first drive-thru window to the second window, banging, talking, yelling,' an employee said.

After going back and forth with an employee for 30 minutes, claiming she never received her order, she fired eight shots.

'I heard the first shot, I kind of like had a late reaction,' the employee.  'Whenever the other shot started ringing out, that's when all of us in the front started ducking and sliding.'

The shooting left the fast-food workers, who were hiding behind walls and equipment, traumatized.

'I was crying, I was scared, I was having a panic attack,' the employee told the outlet.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Anthony fled the scene immediately following the shootout, according to the affidavit.

Officers responded to the shooting and were able to find Anthony by analyzing surveillance footage from the incident.

Investigators identified Anthony by her license plate on her gold 2011 Cadillac sport utility vehicle.

Police also said there was an identifiable white sticker of a rifle, and a 'Big A' on the right-rear lower window on her vehicle.

Photos also captured the suspect, who was identified by several tattoo markings that were visible in the video surveillance and photographs of the shooting.
