Nancy Pelosi is interrupted by screaming anti-Israel protester while accepting award in San Francisco

Nancy Pelosi has once again faced heckling from anti-Israel protesters at an event where she was presented with a 'Distinguished Citizen of the Year' award in her hometown of San Francisco.

Pelosi, the former speaker of the house and still a powerful Congressional Democrat, was being given the award by the Harvard Club of San Francisco for its 150th anniversary.

The club credited the representative - who still serves San Francisco in the House - for her '37-year career of outstanding leadership.'

As she was accepting the award, however, a protester began to yell at Pelosi in a rant captured on video.

'Congratulations, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi,' she yells. 'What good is getting a scholarship if we're using our money from Harvard to retaliate and repress and suppress our own students?'

She then asked: 'What good can you be as a distinguished citizen when you are aiding and abetting this war and this ongoing genocide in Palestine?'

The unidentified woman was very quickly escorted out of the event by security but not before she got off a few more rants.

'Shame on everybody here! Shame on you! How dare you do this? Where our own students are getting attacked by your administration!'

Pelosi responded by saying that 'we respect your right to have your say.'

However, she followed it up with a joke, adding: 'Welcome to San Francisco, everybody' to the laughter of the audience.

Harvard Palestine Solidarity Committee said that they were also calling for the university to divest from what they call 'the illegal occupation of Palestine.'

This is not the first time Pelosi has faced protesters in public for her stances on Israel's war against Hamas.

In April, her address to the Oxford Union in the UK was interrupted by a pair of pro-Palestine demonstrators, days after she said such protests have a 'Russian tinge' to them

The California Democrat was giving an address to the debating society in Oxford as the protestors walked just in front of her podium and silently held up Palestinian flags, until being escorted out by security.

Outside the building some 250 demonstrators chanted 'free Palestine' and 'end the genocide.'

The group was led by Youth Demand, which put out a statement calling Pelosi a 'warmonger.'

The ex-speaker and longtime Democratic leader was giving as part of the Benazir Bhutto Memorial.

Bhutto was the first woman to serve as prime minister of a Muslim nation when she was elected to lead Pakistan through the late 1980s and mid 1990s.

She was assassinated in 2007 when a gunman opened fire and detonated a suicide bomb during a political rally.

At that time, Pelosi cast doubt on some of the motivations of the anti-Israel protesters.

'It's in Putin's interest for 'What's His Name' to win, and therefore I see some encouragement on the part of the Russians,' said Pelosi, who typically avoids naming Donald Trump.

She defended President Biden's response to the outbreak of war between Israel and Hamas.

'[Biden] now is calling for a ceasefire. Who's resisting the ceasefire at this point is Hamas,' Pelosi said.

She complained that protesters had shown up outside her house 'at 3 o'clock in the morning' with signs that read 'Genocide Joe.'

'I trust the sincerity of many of the demonstrators,' Pelosi went on. 'It's organic, it's spontaneous, it's real. But some of it, I think, has a Russian tinge to it.'

Pelosi has previously called for an FBI investigation into pro-Palestine protestors and has claimed that they are financially backed by Russia
