Three friends were killed in a devastating boat crash in Ontario, Canada that remains under investigation.
The trio died after a speed boat collided with their fishing boat in the Buck's Bay region of Bobs Lake, north of the city of Kingston, on the evening of May 18.
The victims were between 21 and 23 years old and were identified as Kaila Bearman, Juliette Côté and Riley Orr.
In the wake of their deaths, friends and loved ones took to social media to post moving tributes.
Juliette Côté (pictured) was one of the three young adults killed in a boat crash on Ontario's Bobs Lake last week
Also among the victims was Kaila Bearman (pictured), whose name was released several days after the May 18 crash
Riley Orr, 23, also perished in the accident, which saw five other people taken to the hospital with injuries of varying severity
Orr, 23, hailed from South Frontenac and attended Sydenham High School. He was an avid student-athlete who played sports throughout his youth, including minor football with the Syndenham Bulldogs and baseball with the Kingston Thunder.
Before his death, Orr worked with Frontenac Plumbing Service, who posted their own tribute to social media.
'Riley Orr started with FPS in April of 2018, at eighteen years of age,' the statement read. 'We had the privilege and pleasure of watching him grow into an outstanding young man, with so much potential. He will be greatly missed here.'
'How I’ll permanently remember this boy,' one friend captioned a photo of Orr laying in the snow as a child. 'Too many memories to count…lucky to have been raised with you and to have known you as a friend. You will be missed by many.'
Bearman and Côté also graduated from high schools in the Limestone School District. Bearman was a Regiopolis-Notre Dame High School graduate who played volleyball and soccer, while Côté was a LaSalle Secondary School graduate who played field hockey and soccer.
'Rest easy angel,' one close friend wrote beneath a photo of herself and Bearman, who was described as a close friend. 'Take care of each other up there.'
Another woman shared a selfie of herself and Côté, writing, 'Give heaven some hell babes, we will never forget.'
At the time of her death, Côté was working at a family-run interior design company called Côté Co. alongside her mother, Alison.
Charges have yet to be laid, as an investigation by Ontario Provincial Police (pictured at the scene) is ongoing

Kingston-based contractor Matt Splinter (pictured) owned the speedboat involved in the crash
Five other people aged 21 to 44 were taken to a local hospital after the accident, including one transported by air ambulance. Others were examined at the scene by Frontenac County paramedics.
A red speedboat tagged with the name 'Y Wouldn't Ya' could be seen stacked atop the wreckage in footage captured by photographer Austin Brettell.
The owner of that boat, a Kingston-based contractor named Matt Splinter, had announced that he was planning to take the boat out on the water days before the fatal crash.
'My girl and I are going to get out for the first rip of the season tomorrow morning! Drift wood is gone and it's time to put the f***ing hammer down!' Splinter wrote in a Facebook post from May 12. The account has since been deleted.
Charges have yet to be laid, as the investigation is ongoing, and Ontario Provincial Police have discouraged the public from speculating on factors involved in the crash.
'It's a horrible situation. There were still people in the water when first responders arrived,' OPP spokesperson Bill Dickson said in a video posted to X, formerly Twitter
He finished the message with a plea to respect the privacy of the victims' families.
