NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell provided an update on Tom Brady's bid to be a part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
After a legendary career that saw him win seven Super Bowl titles, Brady's involvement in the NFL looks to continue as he takes a stab at an ownership role in Sin City.
During a news conference on Wednesday, Goodell told the press that 'progress is being made' with the process as parties work through issues - particularly with Brady's upcoming role as FOX's lead NFL analyst.
Raiders owner Mark Davis told ESPN back in May that he and Brady have agreed for the former quarterback to join the franchise's ownership group but await the NFL's approval.
However, it appears as though the access Brady would get to other teams while fulfilling his broadcasting duties has emerged as a roadblock.

While his part-ownership of the Raiders is yet to meet the dotted line, Brady confirmed earlier this year that his broadcast career will start on Week 1 of the NFL season.
The former quarterback signed a 10-year, $375million deal to become the network's lead NFL analyst. His new role will put him next to play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt.
Nevertheless, Brady continues to pursue a stake in the Raiders franchise. Reports suggest he is trying to buy a 10 percent stake for $175m.
Brady's investment group, which includes Capital co-founder Tom Wagner, hopes to buy the fraction, with Brady taking seven percent for himself.
Brady and Wagner also co-won several sporting franchises, including English soccer club Birmingham City, a Major League Pickleball side, and a world-championship auto-racing team.
Furthermore, the five-time MVP owns part of the reigning WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces, which Davis also holds majority stakes in.
