Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner expressed their disappointment in Caitlyn Jenner over her participation in the House of Kardashian documentary.
On Wednesday's season five premiere of their Hulu series, The Kardashians, Khloe pondered why Caitlyn would choose to participate in the project, which was critical of the Kardashian family.
Khloe, 39, said Caitlyn's, 74, involvement in the documentary 'hurts', while Kris, 68, had a strong reaction after seeing a teaser for the project.
'There's this new documentary about our family and apparently whoever has been calling people that have either once been in our lives or are in our lives to do the documentary and no one really has agreed to do it, except for Caitlyn,' Khloe explained.
Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, was married to Kris for 23 years, from 1991 to 2015, and was a step-parent to Kris's four children from her previous marriage: Khloe, Kourtney, 45, Kim, 43, and Rob Kardashian, 37.

The pair also have two biological daughters together, Kendall, 28, and Kylie Jenner, 26.
Khloe went on to say: 'Caitlyn is completely free to do whatever she wants. I do find it strange that she would agree to do a documentary I would imagine isn't trying to paint us in the most beautiful light,' she went on.
'I just know she wouldn't like that about her,' she added.
'This was my dad for 24 years. It hurts me too. And I was very close to Bruce. Bruce and I... I used to lay in bed with him and watch Unsolved Mysteries all the time.'
In the teaser, Caitlyn was pictured saying that her ex Kris always 'wanted to be more than just a housewife,' to which an incredulous Kris exclaimed, 'Shoot me, I wanted to be more than just a housewife. Okay, kill me.'
The subject of the documentary came up after Khloe recalled an anecdote from her teenage years, while talking to Scott Disick and Kris.
She shared how one time she had to drive a 's**tfaced' Kris home from The Standard, even though she didn't have her driver's license yet.
Khloe recalled how Kris threw up in the car and that Caitlyn then 'hosed down' the vehicle and her jacket when they got home.
When Caitlyn's name came up Scott asked, 'Have you seen that bulls**t she's doing?'
The trio then watched a promo for the documentary together.

Scott expressed his confusion about why Caitlyn would do the documentary after Kris helped her out with getting more subscribers for her YouTube page back in 2021, as he pointed to Kris' generosity before exclaiming, 'And now this?'
Kim was not part of the conversation, but later shared her opinion in a confessional. Unlike her younger sibling, Kim said Caitlyn's involvement in the documentary did not hurt her
'I had such a great stepdad who raised me, so none of those things that are said, even if twisted or whatever, are gonna make me think differently of the life I've had,' she stated

In the documentary, available to watch on Peacock, Caitlyn claims that Kim 'calculated' her fame, as the project explores how the brood became one of the world's most prolific families.
Unlike previous TV shows Keeping Up With The Kardashian's and Hulu's The Kardashians, the three-part series was made without involvement from the famous family, and discusses their family dynamics, scandals, controversial business deals and personal struggles.
Caitlyn's presence in the family has caused friction for some time - with a memorable Keeping Up With The Kardashians scene showing Kendall rowing with Kris over not inviting her to the family's Christmas Eve party.
The former Olympic athlete was also said to be 'shocked' last year when she didn't receive an invite to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's third wedding in Italy.

The friction between Caitlyn and the Kardashian family first arose in 2017, as newly-transitioned Caitlyn came out with her memoir, The Secrets Of My Life, which included a warts-and-all depiction of Kris and their marriage
The drama first arose in 2017, as newly-transitioned Caitlyn came out with her memoir, The Secrets Of My Life, which included a warts-and-all depiction of Kris and their marriage.
'I tell Kris about my gender issues before I make love to her,' Caitlyn insisted in the book, some of whose claims Kris has publicly denied.
'This will always be a subject of dispute between Kris and me as to how much she could intuit about my gender issues. She insists that she was taken by surprise by my ultimate transition to Caitlyn,' the author continued.
'I told her I dressed as a woman, and she knew I did, because I did it several times in front of her after we were married.'
The Kardashian sisters instantly closed ranks around their mother, while Caitlyn's relationship with Khloe went on to deteriorate into a rancorous years-long feud.
Speaking about the series, Caitlyn said: 'I was happy to participate in the interview process to share my side which points to the strength, influence, and prowess my family has in captivating the world's attention and keeping it over the years.
'I am incredibly proud of all my children and stepchildren.'
Upon tying the knot with Kris in 1991, Caitlyn became the stepfather of her children whom she welcomed with late attorney, Robert Kardashian, who notably passed away in 2003 after a battle with esophageal cancer.
After welcoming their two biological daughters later on, the former couple finalized their divorce in 2015, the same year Jenner came out as transgender.

After 14 years, the Kardashian-Jenner clan decided to pull the plug on their long-running reality series and announced in 2020 that the 20th season would be its last.
In an interview with Australia's The Morning Show, Caitlyn claimed that she was not informed by her family about the show's end.
'I heard it on the news!' she said. 'Nobody called me, I heard it through the media. Was I surprised? No.'
Keeping Up With The Kardashians officially concluded in June 2021, with the family participating in a two-part reunion special. Caitlyn did not make an appearance.
During the special, Kris briefly spoke on their failed marriage and admitted to host Andy Cohen that her and Caitlyn did have 'a lot of really great years' together.
When asked if Caitlyn's transition played a role in their divorce, Kris shutdown the notion and confessed that they probably would have split up regardless.
