Following the raid Kingston posted to his Instagram story: 'People love negative energy! I am good and so is my mother!.. my lawyers are handling everything as we speak.'
A lawsuit obtained by Local10 revealed a company by the name Ver Ver Entertainment is accusing Kingston of using his celebrity status to scam companies.
The complaint alleges the rapper partially paid for a 232-inch television and entertainment system but, following the installation, never paid for the product in full.
Dennis Card, an attorney for Ver Ver Entertainment who was outside of the home during the raid, told WSVN, 'He said that he works with Justin Bieber and that he, obviously, puts on a big show here, this is a rental house, he doesn't own it.'
'He lures people using his celebrity into having them release things without having him pay for it and then he simply never pays.'
A photo obtained by the local news station showed Turner in handcuffs being escorted from the property.
'He is stealing the property itself. He has a standardized script that he gives people, which is that he's a recording artists, that he's certainly is, and that he wants to purchase these things, but he never pays for anything,' Card said.
'He gets the stuff and that's the end of the story. He does it over and over and over.'

In 2020, Kingston was charged in connection with grand theft over jewelry which was delivered to him, according to TMZ.
Police sources told the outlet that the Take You There singer had not settled up the tab, leading to the warrant.
Law enforcement told the outlet that they did not intend to actually search for the rapper in connection with this warrant, but it would come up if Kingston was pulled over or detained.
The outlet reported that the legal complaint stated the bill in the case was $45,000, and Kingston could be incarcerated for as many as three years if convicted in connection with the case.
The Eenie Meenie artist has had several legal entanglements linked to high-end jewelry in the past.
