Chris Hemsworth's son looked just like him as he joined him at his Hollywood Walk Of Fame star unveiling on Thursday.

The 10-year-old was the spitting image of his famous dad as he celebrated the Thor star's incredible contributions to motion pictures.

Chris looked dapper in a sleek navy suit as he was joined by twins Sasha and Tristan, daughter India Rose, 12, and wife Elsa Pataky, 47, at the unveiling.

He left the top buttons of his white shirt undone, flashing his megawatt smile as he posed alongside his family.

Chris' lookalike son held his dad's certificate as he stood alongside him while his twin brother smiled as he sat on the actor's star.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an internationally recognised sidewalk attraction in Los Angeles and features stars embedded with the names of celebrities honoured for their achievements in the entertainment industry.

Several other Australia and New Zealand actors have been awarded a star, including Nicole Kidman, Eric Bana, Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett and Simon Baker.

'We are proud to honour Hemsworth with a well-deserved star. Chris is known for his remarkable performances that have captivated audiences worldwide,' a statement from the organisation read.

'Along with his many fans, I am sure his fellow Australians will be so happy to know that we are adding another talented Aussie to our iconic Walk of Fame.'

It comes after Chris revealed on Saturday the surprising prop item he kept as a souvenir from the production of his upcoming movie Mad Max: Furiosa.

He admitted his villainous character Dementus rode a unique and heavily modified motorbike in the movie, which he kept once filming had wrapped.

'I don't know if I should admit, I didn't steal but I definitely said, "This is coming with me",' he told The Daily Telegraph.

'I took the motorbike I had in the film. It had a radial aeroplane engine as its drive mechanism.'

Chris' evil character is seen riding the stunning bike at various points in the latest Mad Max movie, which came out nationally in cinemas on Thursday, May 23.

He added that director George Miller had crafted a brilliant cautionary tale which looked at several modern day issues through a fictional lens.

'What's remarkable about what George has done is to be quite accurate in the potentiality of what is to come.'
