A young woman was forced to block a 'delusional' new 'mate' of hers who sent her a barrage of offensive and unsolicited messages.
The 23-year-old American said the man, 24, joined her friendship group three months ago, but things took a turn when they both attended a group dinner.
'I'm typically quiet and reserved which bothers him a lot for some reason,' she wrote in a confronting two-part Reddit thread.
'A few of us went to have dinner and he started joking that I don't like him. Everyone turned to me and asked if that's true and I said of course not.'
Later that evening he sent her a series of appalling messages insulting not only her but those who are on the autism spectrum. He started by saying he 'doesn't understand' her before calling her an 'autistic frigid b****', seemingly out of nowhere.

He questioned and attacked her personality and character, insulting her and thousands of others in the process
The man boasted about his appearance and said he's 'better looking and more successful than 90 per cent of men'.
The next day he continued on his tangent, likely triggered by the woman's lack of interest in dating him.
'Please, I know you hear it all the time but you're very pretty. I know you when you're not acting like an autistic frigid b****, respectfully,' he wrote.
'You've been single all this time, it's extremely suspicious actually. Why would a girl like you be single? What are you hiding?'
She responded with: 'I don't understand what you want in all honesty.'
He pushed on and claimed he could make her life 'ten times better than it is now'.
'And I'm what you want in a guy, correct?' the young man asked bluntly, then was outraged after being rejected.
'You're joking. You're performing. You're putting on an act to 'teach me a lesson' or something stupid. I don't for a second believe you.'

Many on Reddit were quick to label the young man as 'unhinged' and a 'maniac', while others warned the young woman to stay away and be careful
'I showed all of these texts in the group chat I have with the girls and they all agree he's crazy. They all texted him to leave me alone and he was uninvited from my friends housewarming party,' the woman wrote on Reddit.
'I'm not sure how this is going to unfold but at least they're sick of his sh*t too. He's so obnoxious and delusional. I blocked this clown. Is it just me or does he sound borderline insane?'
Many were quick to label the young man as 'unhinged' and a 'maniac', while others warned the young woman to stay away and be careful.
'He seems to be mad that you're not throwing yourself at him. He seems like he's full of himself,' one wrote.
'What a catch! So humble,' another joked.
But another warned: 'Be careful, this guy is giving off severe red flags. Please make sure you're never alone with him, I'm glad you've shown everyone these messages. It's just progressively getting worse!'
Another Redditor was outraged and said: 'What the actual f*** is this guy's problem?? I cannot imagine in a million years anyone being this outwardly arrogant and rude, and via text of all things, to someone they are interested in romantically!'
Someone else wrote: 'This dude is nuts. You however are wonderful. Be safe and keep your distance from this guy.'
'I can't get over how great your responses are!' another wrote.
