Shocking footage shows Saul 'Canelo' Alavarez punching a fan in the stomach after seeing him hold a sign from afar asking for the Mexican boxer to hit him.

Canelo, 33, was enjoying himself with friends and family at a recent event following his win by unanimous decision against Jaime Munguia, earlier this month, when the fan begged him to fulfill his dream of getting punched, as indicated on his poster, by the 33-year-old, undisputed super middleweight champion.

'One day I will have the honor of getting in the ring with you,' wrote TikTok influencer Naimdarrechi as a caption to his video on the platform.

Canelo, who at first didn't want to be bothered, proceeded to get up from his chair before approaching the fan and landing a right hook to his stomach.

But, despite the punch looking painful, the fan managed to stay on his feet after the hit.

Boxing fans on social media were amazed at the way he took in the pain.

'Didn't even drop, fair play,' a user shared on X.

'He took it well,' another pointed out.

'Brave or stupid????' someone else asked.

Meanwhile, Canelo issued a serious warning to Mike Tyson this week ahead of his fight against Jake Paul this summer.

Asked who thinks will emerge victorious from the ring at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, on July 20, the Jalisco-based boxer said: 'It's hard to predict, it's risky for Mike Tyson because he's 57, 58 years old, I don't know, and boxing is not a joke.

'But I understand why they do this, it's a business, they're going to box in front of 80 thousand people.'

Netflix will broadcast the fight.

It will be the first boxing match on the streaming platform.
