Anya Taylor-Joy looked sensational as she posed topless for the June issue of Vogue Australia.
The actress, 28, is seen in a pair of black high-waisted shorts while sat in the sunshine with her arms wrapped around herself in an arty shot for the publication.
And while her long blonde locks were seen resting gently on her shoulders and back, the star said she was 'psyched' to have almost shaved her head for her role as Furiosa in her latest film A Mad Max Saga, which was released on Friday.
Anya insisted she was ready to defiantly chop her tresses off but the movie's director George Miller put a stop to her plans.
Screen star Anya was interviewed by her Furiosa co-star Chris Hemsworth for the magazine, with the actor, 40, asking her: 'You were ready to shave your head, but George wouldn’t let you?'

She exclaimed: 'I was so f**king psyched.'
Chris exclaimed: 'I was psyched!'
Anya told him: “I have been wanting to do it forever, my whole life.
'Other people have an attachment to my hair and that’s like, "F**k you, I want it gone."
'I called up everyone on my team, called up Dior, called up Tiffany, and I was like, "Listen, I’m gonna be bald, and it’s gonna be great."
'And George saw me, and he just grabbed my hair and went, "Oh, it’s too beautiful. We can’t cut it."'
It comes after The Queen's Gambit star said she 'developed a bit of a reputation for fighting for feminine rage'.
She added she is not promoting violence, but her latest role in Mad Max: Fury Road prequel Furiosa unlocked a kind of anger in her.

Anya, who was born in the US but went to school in the UK, said she used to retreat to Hyde Park in the summer holidays to read and climb trees in response to how frustrating she found life at school.
She told British GQ: 'The messaging I was getting at school was that everything about me was wrong. I think the way that I looked played into it, and then the extremes of my personality definitely played into it.
'If I loved something, I loved something. I have no chill in any regard, and that can be frightening for people, I guess.
'As a survival mechanism you learn to be self-effacing and self-deprecating. You bury yourself before anybody else does.
'What I'm coming to understand is: as long as you're not causing anyone else harm, you have to stand your ground.'
She continued: 'How do I say this? I've developed a bit of a reputation for fighting for feminine rage, which is a strange thing, because I'm not promoting violence - but I am promoting women being seen as people.
'We have reactions that are not always dainty or unmessy.'
In Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, the origin story of the renegade warrior played by Charlize Theron in Fury Road, Taylor-Joy takes on the title role and said it unlocked something in her.

Earlier this month, Anya revealed that a 15-minute action scene in her new film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga took a staggering 78 days to film.
The actress, who takes over as the younger Furiosa in the film which is set between 15 and 20 years before the events of Mad Max: Fury Road - spoke of the 'wild' filming process for her latest flick.
Anya leads the cast in the newest Mad Max film, which features an epic scene between the star and her younger self - played by Alyla Browne.
Appearing on The One Show alongside co-star Chris, Anya gave presenters Roman Kemp and Lauren Laverne some insight about what goes into filming such a long scene.
'We shot it for 78 days, 78 days!' Anya said. 'Yes. It's called Stowaway. It was 100 per cent the mountain we were all trying to climb.'
Anya went on to say that the scene had its own team due to how mammoth a task it was, also known as a second unit, and was directed by Guy Norton - a stuntman in the first Mad Max.
She continued: 'It was wild! It was so much fun but really interesting because it all took place on the war rig, so I had it very mapped out in my head like "Okay I've got a month and a half underneath the rig, a month on the side".
'When I finally made it into the cabin next to Tom Burke, he handed me a sandwich and was like "Well done, you've made it" and I was like "Thank you".'
