Actor Bobby Cannavale was left squirming in his seat during an appearance on Today on Monday morning as host Craig Melvin grilled him about his 'imminent wedding' to Rose Byrne.
Bobby, 54, joined Craig, 45, in the studio to promote his new movie Ezra - which also stars his partner Rose - and the host couldn't resist asking The Watcher actor about working with her, and also their wedding plans.
In a rather awkward moment, Craig said: 'I read that she gave an interview last year where she said, "the wedding is imminent, it's going to happen..."' to which Bobby replied: 'She said that? I didn't see that interview.'
'Do you want me to read it to you?' Craig replied as Bobby fired back: 'Nah, that's alright!' before bursting out laughing and admitting: 'We're good,' as he shrugged his shoulders and glanced around the studio looking rather uncomfortable before adding: 'Yeah, sure.'
Craig clearly took the hint and said: 'Okay, alright,' before quickly wrapping up the interview and telling Bobby: 'Film looks good, again. Bobby Cannavale, always a pleasure.'

Bobby and his partner Rose Byrne have been together since 2012 and share two young sons
The movie Ezra, which also stars Robert De Niro and Whoopi Goldberg, sees Bobby and Rose play divorced couple Max and Jenna, and Craig was keen to know how they balance working together with being a real-life couple and parents to their two young sons.
Referring to their latest film, Bobby revealed: 'The nice thing about this is like we shot it here in New York and New Jersey, and the kids know where we are at all times when we're working together so that's nice.
'Our life is really just... aside from raising the kids, it's just scheduling, everything is scheduling. And so we try our best to really stay together, we always say, "we've got to keep the band together", so we take the kids with us wherever we go and we try and work here as much as we can.
'So whenever there is an opportunity to work together, we know that we're gonna have the kids close by and it sort of all revolves around that. But it's always a good time working with Rose, she makes me laugh like no one else.'
The couple, who have been in a relationship since 2012 and share two sons, have worked together on several occasions on films such as Adult Beginners, Spy, and Seriously Red.
In an interview with People, which was published in May 2023, Rose admitted that she and Bobby already call each other husband and wife.
'I'm more married to him than anybody I've ever been with my whole life,' the Bridesmaid actress said, before confirming that she and Bobby will 'absolutely' tie the knot, but 'scheduling' makes it hard to find the right time to do it.
'Definitely something that we will do,' she told the publication and added: 'I love going to weddings. I've been a bridesmaid twice, I loved it. Everyone else is so over being a bridesmaid and I'm like, I loved it. I found it so entertaining.'
