A 25-year-old woman who claims she was knocked unconscious and left bleeding from the mouth after going on a ride at Typhoon Lagoon's Water Park is suing Disney World for more than $50,000.
Laura Reyes-Merino had visited the Orlando, Florida park on May 11 and went on the the Humunga Kowabunga ride, the lawsuit says.
The high-octane rides features an enclosed body slide that is on a 60-degree angle, and drop 214 foot downhill in the dark before they are splashed with water.
Reyes-Marino alleged in the lawsuit filed in Orange County last week she lost consciousness after 'banging inside the side,' and when her fiancée found her she was limp and bleeding from the mouth.
The suit claims the woman's family frantically asked nearby attendants to help and were told they were not lifeguards, and would have to find lifeguards.

When a lifeguard was finally located, they were unable to help or touch Merino-Reyes and called an ambulance, as per the suit.
'Had defendant had lifeguards at the end of the ride to watch and help guests coming off the ride, plaintiff's brain injury would not have occurred as she wouldn't have been drowning in the water coughing up blood,' according to the suit.
It further stated that Typhoon Lagoon failed to keep the premises safe and did not warn her about dangers.

Disney faced another lawsuit last year when a woman who went to the park to celebrate her 30th birthday suffered a 'painful wedgie' on the same ride as Reyes-Merino.
She filed a lawsuit claiming that the impact of the slide caused her swimsuit to 'be painfully forced between her legs and for water to be violently forced inside her,' Click Orlando reported.
According to her suit, she went to the hospital, and suffered injuries including, severe lacerations, damage to her internal organs and a hernia.
