A single mom who went viral on TikTok for sobbing as she baked a birthday cake is claiming her ex-abused husband abused her as he accuses her of faking cancer

Elizabeth Teckenbrock, 29, shared a video of herself weeping last week as she complained about being a single mom and having to make your own birthday cake. The TikTok swept the internet - gaining 58 million views and a slew of comments, both positive and negative.

However, shortly after the clip went viral - it was revealed that the single mother had a dark past. Her ex-husband Andrew Cormier, 37, said he is actually in full custody of their two young girls, and that she barely sees them and 'goes out all the time'.

Cormier told DailyMail.com that his ex-wife allegedly faked cancer and claims that she left the family when that 'came to light.'

There were multiple now-deleted TikToks uploaded in 2021 that appeared to show Teckenbrock asking for support in her fight against cancer - and Cormier said that she started a GoFundMe to raise money while she said she suffered from 'cancer.'

'Can we start a prayer chain, pray I beat the 20% odds and make it through chemo,' one of the TikToks said - along with the hashtag #CormierStrong - as Teckenbrock shared her ex-husband's last name at the time.

Another TikTok that appears to feature Teckenbrock along with the hashtag shows the single mom thanking everyone who has reached out and said prayers for her during her 'fight with lymphoma,=,'

When asked why she allegedly lied and what happened to the money, Cormier said he didn't know why his ex-wife did not tell the truth or what she did with funds that were raised.

According to Cormier, Teckenbrock accused him of physical abuse. 'She has made some really bad accusations against me, and I'm really concerned for my children,' he told DailyMail.com.

On Friday, Cormier made a series of bombshell claims and said he is in full custody of their two young girls that she barely sees because she 'goes out all the time'

Cormier also revealed that the claims of abuse that Teckenbrock allegedly made only began after she left the family and that she began to file injunctions when he reached out to her family to tell them 'what she was doing.'

Teckenbrock denied to discuss the ongoing drama between her and her ex-husband.

'I’m drowning from all the emotional abuse, from all the reporters, from my ex husband,' she said.

When asked about the fake cancer allegations, Teckenbrock did not respond.

Teckenbrock accused Cormier of abuse the day after he made a series of bombshell allegations, saying he was 'extremely abusive' before admitting she does not have custody of their kids but that she does see them.

'Andrew is extremely, extremely abusive and has always been extremely abusive,' she claimed.

'First I'll start by the custody, okay, because that's what we're all talking about. I see my children, I see all my children.

'I'm the one who hosts their birthday parties. I'm the one who puts them to bed. I'm the one who does everything until he pulls them away.'

Despite the serious allegations against her, Teckenbrock uploaded a lighthearted video of her dancing around her kitchen in a pink two-piece set to a Drake song.

'Me to myself. Because I really went through it but still walk a delicate walk. I'm somehow still genuine & wear my heart on my sleeve. & nobody can take that away from me,' the video text said.

Meanwhile, the lyrics in the background said, 'I'm so proud of you. Everything's adding up, you've been through hell and back. That's why you're bad as f***.'

Teckenbrock briefly deleted her TikTok account, along with all of her other social media pages, last week following the backlash from her crying video.

She has now returned to TikTok and is actively posting non-stop videos defending herself in bizarre ways. She also asked her followers to not harass Cormier.

Most recently, the sobbing single mom uploaded a video of her unloading the dishwasher with a voiceover saying her biggest take-away from the past few days is that 'your past does not define you.'

She also posted a video of her 'explaining herself' now that she 'has a lot of followers.' In the five-minute-long video, she said she knows that she's a good mom and that she devotes her life and time to them, regardless of her mistakes.

'I will proudly say, without a doubt, I know who I am. I know that I'm a good mother, that I love my children.

'I've made mistakes in my life, yes, I did get arrested, that's not something that I've even remotely denied. I've actually touched base on that before on my page.'

'I was 16 when I had my son,' she revealed - adding that she was a single mom from that point, but 'no hate to his father'.

Cormier revealed that his ex-wife was previously arrested for fraud. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office confirmed Teckenbrock was taken into custody in August 2023 on third degree grand theft and cash or deposit item with intent to defraud.

'I went through some pretty bad mental things as I was about a year out from getting divorced. And then when I left, even worse, I was going out all the time, I made a bunch of mistakes,' she added, revealing that she was arrested for 'writing a bad check.'

Since her mistakes, the single mother said that she has tried to 'rebuild her life' while struggling with mental illness.

'It's really hard to come out of anything like that, especially when you're being torn down at the same time.'

Teckenbrock added that 'regardless of her mistakes,' she 'devotes' her time to her children.

'No hate to his father whatsoever, but I was a single mom at the age of 16 years old. I have struggled since being emotionally distraught, I guess you would say,' she said as she teared up.

Shortly before posting her three most recent videos, she posted a dramatic update captioned 'at this time I am terrified for my life and well being of me and my children. I appreciate everyone who has supported me. But I am done posting.'
