New video shows the embarrassing moment a Tesla Cybertruck got caught trying to cross a California river - the latest in a string of mishaps involving the electric vehicle.

The futuristic pickup truck was caught on camera attempting to traverse the body of water in Azusa Canyon on Sunday.

A video posted to YouTube shows the angular car stuck in the river with water covering its tires.

The Cybertruck tired to drive over the waters edge, but got caught before the back tires could cross onto land.

The driver reversed the vehicle to the opposite edge in an effort to gain momentum, but failed again to successfully cross.

After repeated attempts to backup then accelerate over the waters edge, a Silverado pickup truck helped pull the Cybertruck out of the water, according to the YouTube uploader.

Commenters mocked the driver for trying to use the innovative looking vehicle to cross a body of water.

'Thought this was the best off-road vehicle ever, what happened,' said commenter Pat Benjamin.

'One issue I notice with the cyber truck is that it’s just too stiff for how large of a wheelbase it has. When wheels are that far apart you need more suspension. Otherwise it’s just a tall car,' said Derrick Fishes.

'I would not take 100k truck in a river like that. First of all it’s electric so I’d worry about that. Second just because it has 1000 horsepower and tons of torque or whatever does not mean it can do anything,' said Zane Dzikonski.

'Its suspension and tires are not meant for off-roading. Also always go with a friend that can pull ya out.'

'Can’t wait until influencer money runs out. This is a clown show,' said another.

This is the latest in a slew of incidents involving the vehicle that many purchasers have had a myriad of issues with.

In March, a driver rammed into the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel sign and asked Elon Musk for a new one after blaming the hotel's valet service.

A post on X included a dramatic photo of the futuristic car wedged right below the fancy hotel's infamous sign.

The brand new stainless steel 'cyberbeast' had its door ripped off by the crash, which called for the police to show up on the scene.

During the 2 a.m. incident, the vehicle became lodged on top of the raised curb and into the palm leaves surrounding the entrance sign.

Philadelphia rapper 2Rare claimed to be the driver of the truck that crashed into famed hotel.

The valet service clapped back and said none of their employee's were driving the doomed electric pickup truck.

A careless driver who ignored a 'No Vehicles on Beach or Dunes' sign ended up driving his Tesla Cybertruck onto a California beach in March, where it proceeded to get stuck in the sand.

A video that was taken by a bystander captured the entire ordeal, showing the driver, who was from Nevada, talking with firefighters and other officials, while his Cybertruck stood a few yards away from the lapping waves.

Moments later, the firefighters endeavored to push the 6,8430-pound vehicle off of the beach.

The woman who recorded the video, which was shared with KSBW8, narrated: 'Today is March fourth and some dumb*** decided to take his Tesla onto the sand.'

She added that the driver was 'livid.'

The firefighters could be seen slowly rolling the truck backward, with much exertion and strain.
