This is the embarrassing moment Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak had to interrupt a victory celebration after contestants incorrectly answered a puzzle.

Rufus Cumberlander was seen fist bumping his opponents during Monday night's show after he confidently guessed the answer to a toss-up puzzle.

Cumberlander, alongside fellow contestants Luidgi Altidor and Cynthia King, were tasked with completing the phrase: '_ _ N ' _ _ _ _ K A _ _ _.'

King buzzed, but couldn't solve the puzzle, opening it to her opponents. That's when Cumberlander shouted 'DON'T LOOK AWAY', prompting a fist bump from Altidor.

Sajak repeated 'no, no, no, no, no' but the trio continued their celebration, only finally realizing their mistake when the incorrect answer buzz went off.

King looked disappointed after seemingly being puzzled by the phrase on the board.

Failing to answer the prompt, Sajak opened the question up to the other two contestants.

Cumberlander, with apparent confidence, offered up an answer to the puzzle.

Altidor, seemingly impressed by his opponent, mouthed 'yes' as he fist bumped Cumberlander, who then proceeded to do the same to King.

Sajak repeatedly said the answer was incorrect, but the trio appeared not to hear him.

They finally returned their attention to the host after a buzzer went off, revealing the correct answer: 'CAN'T LOOK AWAY'. They yelled out is disbelief.

'No, it's not correct,' Sajak said. 'Everybody's congratulating everybody, and WE get to keep the money!!

'It was nice of you to congratulate him,' he added.

Because no one answered the question properly, King - who had won the two previous puzzles - was awarded points for the segment. She was victorious in Monday night's episode, taking home a total of $19,390
