A model and fashion designer is counting her blessings after she rejected a creepy marriage proposal from a crazed knifeman who has been charged with a violent rampage across Massachusetts

Jared Ravizza, 26, of Chilmark, a town on Martha's Vineyard, faces multiple charges including assault with the intent to murder after six people were stabbed in separate attacks on Saturday night.

Four girls aged 9 to 17 were stabbed at an AMC multiplex in Braintree by a knifeman who was 'laughing the whole time'. A 21-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were stabbed roughly an hour later at a McDonald's in Plymouth.

Police linked Ravizza to the crimes, catching him after he crashed his Porsche and he was taken into custody. More disturbing allegations came forward Massachusetts Police sources revealed Ravizza was also the man they were looking for after a body was found on Saturday afternoon at a holiday let in Deep River.

Now a woman who claims to have once been his friend has spoken out, saying she feels 'blessed' to have cut ties with him after getting a bad feeling about him.

Alyona Shikhova, 30, had been running a modeling shoot for her clothing brand, Ashik, in April 2023 when she met Ravizza.

She claims Ravizza managed to convince her to allow him to take part in the photoshoot whereupon he began hitting on her and making outlandish suggestions.

Among his ramblings, which soon became concerning and bizarre, was a marriage proposal and even a suggestion they have kids.

'He said "I'm gonna be a good husband, you're gonna be my wife",' Shikhova recounted. 'I think he liked me and he was used to getting what he wanted.

'I couldn't imagine, at that moment, what he was capable of. I am still in shock after reading about what he has done. I feel blessed to be alive. There are so many crazy people, we have to be really careful. You never know.'

Ravizza laid it on thick as he walked onto the set of her photoshoot and began selling himself as someone who could help promote her brand while boasting of his supposed connections in New York and the Hamptons.

The pair even appeared on her Instagram together both wearing matching pink hoodies with the caption, 'never ever ever be basic.'

Following the shoot, Ravizza invited Shikhova back to his hotel pool.

Looking back, the model says what had been a casual meeting had unsettling and ominous overtones.

'We'd just met and he was already proposing and promising me a lot of things right away,' Shikhova said. 'It was just weird.'

Ravizza continued to boast about his wealth and lavish lifestyle showing off tropical vacations in Hawaii together with photos of houses around the world he claimed to own.

'He said he had a few houses everywhere, in Malibu, the Hamptons, and other places,' she explained.

Desperate to make his mark, Ravizza, even offered to open up clothing stores for her brand in the cities where he had homes.

Shikhova said she felt uncomfortable with Ravizza's pushiness and left the hotel.

The pair texted a few times after their meeting to discuss which pictures and videos she would use to promote her fashion brand.

The next time she heard of Ravizza was when she saw his photo on the news following the unhinged stabbing attack on six people.
