Scandal-hit special prosecutor Nathan Wade has put his former marital home on the market days after he defended his relationship with Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis, saying their affair was, 'as American as apple pie,' DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The sale of the property, coupled with Wade's admission during a television interview last week that he and Willis are 'in communication daily,' has fueled speculation that the affair that almost derailed Willis's election-interference prosecution of Donald Trump, is not over.
Viewings for the 5,215 square foot stone home in Marietta, Georgia, which boasts seven bedrooms, five baths, a pool room, with wet-bar and home cinema, started Monday with an asking price of $699,900.
Rumors that Willis, 53, and her 51-year-old 'lover' are still very much an item first bubbled up when Wade stunned guests by showing up at her primary victory party on Tuesday night.

Wade was in the audience and schmoozing guests when Willis delivered her victory speech, even though it is just two months since he was forced to resign his position as special prosecutor on the Trump prosecution after Judge Scott McAfee said he would disqualify Willis if Wade did not.
But if he felt any unease at the ripples caused by his appearance Tuesday night, Wade did not show it.
He was sharply dressed in a blue three-piece suit and proudly wore a Fani Willis pin on his vest.
For her part Willis looked radiant in a sequined blue dress with plunging neckline, perhaps quietly thrilled to have the man with whom she remains 'the best of friends,' by her side on this important night.
The following night Wade made his appearance on Joy Reid's MSNBC show where he defended his relationship with Willis and doubled down on earlier comments that a work-place affair was 'as American as apple pie.'
Speaking on Wednesday night Wade told Reid that the relationship 'grew organically over time.'
He said: 'It was something that was not deliberate or intentional.'
But he said his 'apple pie comment' was 'not to make light of the situation.' He explained, 'That was just to say that it could happen to anyone.'

Wade has been at the center of a bitter divorce case, where it was revealed he had a relationship with Willis
Wade has always insisted that his relationship with Willis was strictly professional when he took on the role of special prosecutor in the election interference trial being brought against Trump in Georgia.
He joined the case November 1, 2021, the same day that he filed for divorce from his ex-wife, Joycelyn, who exposed her ex-husband's illicit affair in divorce filings in which she claimed that Wade used 'marital funds' to 'entertain' his lover.
She also attempted to subpoena Willis as part of the divorce case.
According to Wade he and Joycelyn had an understanding that when their youngest child graduated high school and matriculated into college they would formally file for divorce.
Both he and Willis maintain that their relationship did not become romantic until early 2022.
Speaking last week Wade told of the special bond that he and Willis still have, as he shared the fact that both have received a deluge of threats to their safety.
He said he has to empty threats left on his voicemail daily and has been forced to employ security at his law firm's offices in Atlanta.
The intensity of his shared experience with Willis has, he said, fostered a unique understanding between the two.
He described Willis as, 'the only other person on the planet who knows what I'm going through.' And added that he knows what she's going through too.
