Police in Rio de Janeiro are searching for a woman who allegedly poisoned her boyfriend to death just days after they were caught on camera kissing in an elevator.
Luiz Ormond was found dead in his apartment May 20 after concerned neighbors called 911 due to a foul odor emanating from his home.
Investigators believe Júlia Cathermol poisoned the brigadeiros – a traditional Brazilian dessert that resembles a cupcake – that the businessman had consumed.
While the autopsy report did not reveal his cause of death, the medical examiner did find chocolate residue in Ormond’s digestive tract.
Ormond’s body, which was in a state of advanced decomposition, was found lying on a living room sofa with a mark on the head that was consistent with a head injury.

Two fans were left on, including one on the floor that was facing an open window. Cops also recovered a pack of morphine.
Neighbors told authorities they last saw Ormond walking with Cathermol out of the building pool on May 17.
A surveillance camera mounted in the elevator showed Ormond holding a plate wrapped with what authorities believe may have been the poisoned brigadeiros while Cathermol was carrying a bottle.
The couple shared a kiss in the elevator before it stopped on a floor, where a woman entered. Ormond and Cathermol engaged the woman in small talk until they got off the elevator.
A second surveillance camera showed Cathermol leaving the gym and returning to the apartment on May 19.

Authorities said Cathermol remained in the apartment through the weekend and left with suitcases the afternoon of May 20.
Authorities on Wednesday arrested Suyane Breschak, a friend of Cathermol, for allegedly helping her with getting rid of Ormond’s personal possessions, including a car that was sold for $14,000, according to Brazilian news outlet G1.
Breschak told investigators that the money was used by Cathermol to pay off a $115,000 debt that stretched for five years. She added that Cathermol had been paying her around $960 a month.
She also revealed that Cathermol worked as a prostitute and that she was hired as 'spiritual mentor' so that her former boyfriends and family did not find out what type of business she was really involved in.
Breschak learned that Ormond was dead after she received a phone call from Cathermol, who told her she had to wrap is body with bed sheets and blankets and turned on the fans because "it was really stinking" in the apartment. She added that Cathermol told her that she used bleach to clean the apartment and that vultures were showing up by the window.
A man who purchased the vehicle in the town of Cabo Frio was interviewed by the police and showed a handwritten note that as proof that the car was under his name.
He was carrying Ormond’s laptop and cellphone, and was arrested for possession of stolen property.
