Today, Banana Republic, unveiled its revitalized New York City flagship store, located in the heart of the SoHo Cast Iron Historic District, at 552 Broadway.

The space has been redesigned in collaboration with renowned architect and interior designer Noa Santos, of NAINOA, and creative advisor Jacqueline Schnabel.

Spanning 17,000 square-feet and two stories, the elevated store design is a curation of the brand’s ethos of modern exploration - from art and sculptures, to books and decor. 

On display are paintings by amazing artists including Roland Allmeyer, Nobuyoshi Araki, Michael Campbell, Jesse Edwards, and Phoenix Falcon, to name a few.

As well as hand-carved wood sculptures by Chuck Manion and Jonathan Shlafer; art sculptures by Vince Skelly and Jinsik Yoo; photography by McDermott & McGough and Jessica Craig- Martin; and ceramics by Jane Yang D’Haen.

The new flagship offers an elevated retail experience, including a range of premier services like custom tailoring and personalized concierge and styling services. 

And new to the SoHo store is the addition of BR Home, including furniture, lighting, and other home goods.

'It was a special experience to collaborate with Noa Santos, Jacqueline Schnabel and the in-house Banana Republic team to curate an incredible SoHo Flagship experience that celebrates the brand’s heritage with a modern point of view through immersive experiences across fashion, art, global culture and more,' said Gap Inc. Creative Director Zac Posen.

The first floor showcases women's collections and accessories, in addition to exclusive Banana Republic’s vintage surplus offerings from the '80s and '90s available for purchase.

The second floor includes men’s collections and accessories, and a suiting shop with on-site tailoring services.

The space also features the BR Home Penthouse Apartment and Banana Republic Bespoke Services.

The BR Home Penthouse Apartment is a three-room space that serves as the first BR Home showroom in New York City. 

Banana Republic Bespoke Services offers personal styling, tailoring and alterations, gift boxing, local delivery, and more. 

Customers can also book a VIP room for special events. Exclusive to the SoHo flagship, on-site product embroidery allows garments to be customized with a monogram, message, or motif, creating unique heirlooms.

On Thursday, Daniel Del Core, Creative Director of Del Core, celebrated the opening of the brand’s New York City boutique.

The opening comes on the heels of incredible support the brand has had on the red-carpet, counting Florence Pugh, Eiza Gonzales, and Demi Moore amongst their most recent collection ambassadors.

The celebration began with an intimate cocktail, where celebrated chef Woldy Reyes of Woldy Kusina, created a decadent food installation inspired by the artistry of the brand. 

Guests - including actors Cara Buono and Rebecca Hall,  DJ va$htie and model Bruna Tenorio - mingled between the ready-to-wear and couture floors, which currently houses some of the brand’s most iconic gowns.

Stylist to the stars Kate Young looked chic in a white suit, while Olivia Palermo showed off her styling abilities in a floral dress and knee-high socks. 

'And Just Like That..' star Sarita Choudhury shined bright in a grey silk over-the-knee dress.
