Several people were injured at a monster truck show in Maine after one of the giant trucks caused a utility pole to fall crashing to the ground on Saturday.
A video taken by a spectator captured the horrifying moment the truck clipped the utility wire, causing the pole to slam into the ground.
In the footage, a red monster truck with the words 'Crush Station' emblazoned on its side trundled down the track at the Topsham Fairgrounds.

While airborne, the truck snags the utility wire, which causes the nearby utility poles to shudder and then fall.
One of the poles falls right into a crowd of spectators as onlookers scramble.
People cower and duck as the colossal wood structure slams into the ground. Then the heavy utility line crashes inches from where spectators were standing.
Families rush out of the area. In the video, three people can be seen desperately pulling their loved one in a wheelchair away from the wires.

A mother and father hasten to push away their two children, who are sitting in a Radio Flyer Wagon.
And in one terrifying moment, a father and his son seem to get tangled up in the falling wire.
The father is holding his son and can be seen trying to turn his back in the direction of the wire, so that he can shield the child. But the wire ends up striking the infant in the neck, causing his head to snap back.
Fortunately, the boy seems uninjured and the father quickly rushes to safety, cradling his son's head.
According to WMTW, the crash happened around 2 pm at the Topsham Fairgrounds, a horse racing track that was being used for a monster truck event.
Two harmed individuals were taken to a nearby hospital, where they were treated for their injuries. At this point, their condition is unclear.
Various other people received medical attention for minor injuries.

After the incident, power in the surrounding area was quickly turned off to prevent further injuries.
While the power was off, crews were able to approach and help those who had been harmed in the incident.
The power wasn't switched back on until 4:30 pm. The driver emerged from the accident unscathed.
Topsham authorities announced that they are continuing to investigate the incident.
