Stormy Daniels shared some words of support for Donald Trump's embattled wife during an interview with Good Morning Britain on Tuesday sharing that she understood as a mother wanting to stay out of the spotlight during the recent trial.
Daniels, 45, the porn star at the center of Donald Trump's trial, which saw him convicted on all 34 counts of falsifying business records, said that she commended Melania Trump despite the former first lady once referring to her as a 'porn hooker.'
In an earlier interview with the Daily Mirror, Daniels called for Trump to be blocked from running for the presidency after last week's shocking verdict calling the loophole which would allow him to be in office from a prison cell 'crazy.'
Trump has denied ever having sexual relations with Daniels in 2006 while Melania was at home with their then-new born son, Barron. The adult star said Tuesday that the didn't blame Melania for not showing up in court in New York to support her husband.
In 2020, in a leaked conversation between Melania and her former friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, the then-first lady referred to Daniels as a 'porn hooker' in reference to a photo shoot the actress was doing with famed photographer Annie Leibowitz.

In a leaked phone call with former friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Melania referred to Daniels as a 'porn hooker'
'We have to keep in mind, we don't know what their arrangement is… I know she was angry, she called me a porn hooker or something like that, but we don't know what their personal side and their relationship is,' Daniels said.
'But I will say that she's probably very upset with the scrutiny and the negative coverage because she’s a mom and I'm sure she's concerned about her son and his wellbeing and how it's affecting him.'
'I'm not gonna speak for her but as a mother but I would imagine that did play some part in her choosing to remain out of the spotlight during the trial. And I commend her for that,' she added.
Back in 2020, Daniels was not so diplomatic when the 'porn hooker' tape leaked. 'Although I wasn’t paid for sex and therefore technically not a "hooker" I’ll take being that over what you are any day,' Daniels tweeted.
'You sold your pussy AND your soul...and I’m legal. Keep talking about me. I like your new t**s btw. Post (more) nudes?'
'It is as crazy as the law that prevents you from walking your alligator on a sidewalk on Sundays that still exists in some states. It's been on the books for ever and it's archaic. Fix it,' Daniels told the Daily Mirror.
A long time Republican, Daniels is now urging the public to cast their votes for incumbent 81-year-old President Joe Biden. Trump is due to be sentenced on July 11.
Trump's campaign claims to have raised $141 million in the midst of the trial and tens of millions in the aftermath of the verdict. In his first press conference following his conviction, Trump cited a DailyMail.com poll demonstrating his popularity.

'I would like to encourage everyone to vote. I understand not liking either of the candidates... but remember, NOT voting for Biden is the same as voting FOR Trump,' Daniels said.
'That's why that is important. How is it that this amazing country that we live in is full of all these amazing people, and yet Trump and Biden are all we have? Like that's it? I just don't understand.'
Daniels went on to blame Trump for the lack of civility across the country.
'There is such a small percentage of people in America who are willing to admit that they were wrong, and that is part of the problem with people in general, especially the American public.'
'People just refuse to see the facts, but even when they are shown the facts, they won't admit that they made a mistake and that they were wrong.. It's 'I'm right, and it's because I said so.' It is like a cult.'
Daniels, known for her mainstream roles in The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, believes that it should be clear to all women who to vote for.
'If I need to say anything to any woman by now about who they need to vote for, then it's pointless. If I need to tell you anything, ladies, there's no hope for you. This is a president who wants to set back women's rights.'
Last month, Trump said he was open to supporting regulations on contraception and that his campaign would release a policy on the issue 'very shortly,' comments that he later said were misinterpreted.

The comments, made during an interview with a Pittsburgh television station, suggested that a future Trump administration might consider imposing mandates or supporting state restrictions on such highly personal decisions as whether women can have access to birth control.
During an interview with KDKA News, Trump was asked, 'Do you support any restrictions on a person's right to contraception?'
'We're looking at that and I'm going to have a policy on that very shortly,' Trump responded, according to a video of the interview that was briefly posted online before it was supposed to air, then taken down.
This is the first time Trump has suggested he would have a policy on contraception since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a national right to abortion two years ago, touching off political battles about aspects of reproductive rights, including contraception and in vitro fertilization.
Responding later to media reports of his interview, Trump said on his social media platform Truth Social that he 'has never and will never' advocate for restricting birth control and other contraceptives.
Even so, the Biden campaign was quick to seize on the interview.
'Women across the country are already suffering from Donald Trump's post-Roe nightmare, and if he wins a second term, it's clear he wants to go even further by restricting access to birth control and emergency contraceptives,' Biden-Harris spokesperson Sarafina Chitika said in a statement.
The 34 felony counts of falsifying business records Trump was found guilty of are charges punishable by up to four years in prison.
It’s not clear whether prosecutors intend to seek imprisonment — Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg dodged a question on that Thursday — or whether Merchan would sentence him behind bars even if that’s the recommendation.
As part of a broader, rambling broadside against the case, Trump has sought to downplay any concerns about his sentence, saying in a Fox & Friends Weekend interview that aired on Sunday that he was 'OK' with the prospect of imprisonment or home confinement.
