Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider has revealed that he's found love again one year after his wife tragically died of breast cancer - and admitted that he 'wouldn't be here' if it wasn't for his new girlfriend.
The actor, 64, shared the heartbreaking news that his spouse Alicia Allain had passed away in February 2023, following a four-year battle with the disease.
But now, the star - who famously portrayed Beauregard 'Bo' Duke in the beloved CBS series - confirmed that he is dating someone new during a recent appearance on Grace Begins, The Podcast.
John confessed that he was 'ready to give it all up' and found 'the very notion of dating' to be 'repulsive' following the 'really rough' loss of his wife. But everything changed when he met his new love.
'The last year has been pretty wonderful. But the year before that was really rough,' he shared with hosts Cathy Cardenas and Catherine Sutherlan. 'But God pays attention. God sent a widower to a widow.'

John, who opted not to share the identity of his new girlfriend, explained that because he and his partner both lost someone, they 'get' and 'understand' one another.
'I was ready to give it up, all of it. Everything,' he continued. 'And then, just when I thought the very notion of dating or holding another hand was repulsive, I met that crazy dame over there.

'Truly, that was a miracle. I can honestly say I didn't want [a relationship], I was done. If that hadn't happened, I wouldn't be here.'
John recalled thinking that he had nothing left 'to do' before he met his new partner, but that now he 'knows he has a lot more to do.'
'[I thought], if I die tomorrow, people would say, "Oh he had so much more to do." No, [I felt like] I did a lot. But now I know there is a lot more to do.'
The actor started dating Alicia - who served as his manager - in 2015, and they wed in 2019. But soon after they tied the knot, she was diagnosed with cancer and she passed away in February 2023 at age 53.
After her death, John paid tribute to her in a heartfelt statement he shared on Facebook.
'My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus,' he wrote. 'Please respect our privacy during this time of grief. Please do not ask any questions. Lastly… hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did.'

Before marrying Alicia, the Hollywood legend went through two failed marriages. He first tied the knot with former Miss America Tawny Elaine Godin in 1983 - but they split three years later due to 'unavoidable circumstances.'
He went on to wed a woman named Elly Castle in 1993, and they welcomed a daughter together.
He also adopted her two kids from her previous marriage - but they divorced after nearly two decades together in 2014.
John famously portrayed Beauregard 'Bo' Duke in the beloved CBS series (seen with castmates Catherine Bach and Tom Wopat)
The pair's split led to a lengthy court battle, which ultimately saw John sent to jail for failing to pay alimony for the couple's three children.
In addition to his rocky love life, John has made headlines over the years for his controversial statements.
Back in December, he raised eyebrows after he made death threat against President Joe Biden on X, formerly Twitter, in which he wrote that the President 'should be publicly hung' alongside his son Hunter.
'Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hung,' the Smallville alum wrote. 'Your son too. Your response is...? Sincerely, John Schneider.'
Afterwards, however, he insisted that his post never implied threats or violence in a statement to TMZ.
'Seriously, folks? This is my final comment on this. I neither said nor implied any such thing,' he said.
'Despite headlines claiming otherwise, in my post, I absolutely did not call for an act of violence or threaten a US President as many other celebrities have done in the past.
'I suggest you re-read my actual post and pay attention to the words before believing this nonsense.
'It's my position, which I am entitled to have, that some of our nations leaders in Washington have lost their way, and corruption runs rampant, both on our nation's borders and abroad.
'Transparency and accountability must happen in order for our constitutional republic to survive. There is no threat implied or otherwise in that statement.'

In February, he was also slammed after he compared Beyoncé to a urinating dog following the announcement of her country album.
During an interview with conservative network One American News, John was asked about his thoughts on 'leftist' musicians, like the 42-year-old singer, who venture into different genres.
'The lefties in the entertainment industry just won't leave any area alone, right? They just have to seize control over every aspect, don't they?' the host asked him.
John then replied, 'They've got to make their mark, just like a dog in a dog walk park. You know, every dog has to mark every tree, right? So that's what's going on here.'
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com afterwards, the star - who released country music in the 1980s - said being labelled a racist was 'absurd and just ridiculous' as a dog marking a tree was 'an expression he's used his whole life.'
He said: 'I've used that expression about myself whenever I endeavor to go out and push the envelope? I'm from New York. I've got a saying.
'I have said every dog needs to be on a tree my whole life, which means everyone has a right to their opinion. Everyone has a right to try, do and say anything because of freedom of speech.
'Everyone has a right to try or do anything that they wish, so it was never intended to compare her to a dog.
'And if you listen to it or if you see it, you'll see the first thing I said about Beyoncé was that I think Beyoncé is the greatest female vocalist since Whitney Houston.
'I do know a little something about country music, because I've done it for so long. God bless her for having a number one song.
'So now even if I had said something derogatory, which I did not, I have the right to.'
He claimed Beyoncé's fans had 'used' him to put a spotlight on the singer's new music, adding: 'They found something that they could take out of context, and they ran with it. I think they ran with it. They looked at it as free press for a new album.
'I was just used as a unknowing, I won't say unwitting, but unknowing tool to promote some new music.'
The musician also revealed he hopes to collaborate with Beyoncé, stating: 'Maybe one day there'll be a Beyoncé, John Schneider duet - who knows? I know a little bit about country music. I mean, I've had four number ones.'
