An actress has been left nursing a huge egg-shaped bump on her forehead after a drunken attempt at doing the splits went awry.
Lexi DiLucia, from New York City, was out clubbing when alcohol gave her the confidence to put her daring dance moves to the test.
The 23-year-old decided to try out an old college party trick - but disaster soon struck.
Instead of effortlessly executing the risky routine, she slipped, hit her head on the floor and was left with a very noticeable impact injury.

In a clip, which has so far racked up more than 7.4 million views and over 190,000 likes, Lexi candidly laid bare the dancefloor mishap.
She explained: 'I was dancing with my cousins and had a few vodka sodas.
'I think I underestimated the weight of my head and, before I could stop myself, it was too late.'
In the video, Lexi can be seen boogying before attempting to do the splits.
And, as she does, her head slams into the ground.
She is then pictured with a huge bump in the middle of her forehead which she showcases from different angles.
The post was captioned: 'I think it's about time I retire the "cooter slam" now.'
