Jennifer Aniston sparked plastic surgery rumors when she hit the red carpet to promote her TV show in Los Angeles last weekend.
The 55-year-old seemingly had a swollen area below her left eye, and also puffier lips, with fans saying she looked visibly more 'tired' than usual.
Now, a plastic surgeon claims the new look is due to a botched cosmetic procedure, or what he described as 'filler gone wrong'.
Dr Richard Devine claimed the likely due to too much gel-like substance being injected into the tear trough — the area between the lower eyelid and the cheek.
Tear trough filler is popular among celebrities and anti-agers because it helps with sagging, crow's feet and bags under the eyes.
Dr Richard Devine, a plastic surgeon in the UK, revealed on TikTok that he thought Jennifer Aniston had had fillers

'What we're seeing here is tear trough filler gone wrong,' he said in a video on social media.
'Complications like this happen when too much filler is injected, or when the type of product used attracts too much water — and so... the area becomes swollen,' he added.
Aniston was filmed at an event for her Apple TV+ series ‘The Morning Show’.
Dr Devine continued: 'The filler is projecting so much that it is actually causing these shadows to form around the eyes and these deep ridges in the mid-cheek, which is actually making her look more tired and aged.'
As people age, the area under the eyes can start to appear more sunken in due to a natural loss of volume in the face — caused by a gradual loss of fat cells.
To counteract this, many receive filler in the tear trough area — the groove that runs from the bottom of the inner eyelid to the cheek.
Surgeons tend to use hyaluronic acid as the filler, which works by attracting water to the area to make it appear more plump.
But this typically takes a few days to weeks to settle.
Dr Elie Levine, a plastic surgeon in New York City, also suggested to DailyMail.com that the swelling underneath her left eyelid was likely due to filler.
'She has some swelling under her left eye, and that is probably swelling after having fillers there at some point,' he said.
'That can happen after just doing them once, or doing them repeatedly, and at 55 I think it is naïve to suggest she hasn't dabbled there.'
He added: 'This is one area where we do see some swelling in a rare number of patients.
'This may happen because the skin is very thin there, or because the lymphatic area — which drains fluids — can get irritated or compromised in a way that leads to swelling.
'Sometimes dissolving fillers can help address this issue, you can also use lasers to help tighten the skin in that area.'
Dr Levine also noted that there did also appear to be a slight swollen area under Aniston's left eye in March 2023, suggesting that the difference in the images may also be linked to make-up — with Aniston possibly hiding the swelling less well in the more recent photos.
On her lips, he said that they did appear fuller.
Aniston hinted that she has used fillers back in 2011, saying: 'I'm not saying that I haven't tried it... but I see how it's a slippery slope.'
She has not recently spoken about fillers, but other surgeons have also speculated the star has been using them — with one saying only last month that her face now appears to be 'overfilled'.
There has also been speculation that she has had filler into her nasolabial fold — or the fold running from the edge of the nose to the corner of the mouth — and into the lips.

DailyMail.com reached out to her representatives for comment on allegations that she had used fillers beneath her eyes.
Aniston appeared on the red carpet during a For Your Consideration (FTC) event to promote The Morning Show, a three-season series on Apple TV that exposes the cut-throat world of morning television, in which she stars as one of the main characters. In Showbiz, an FTC event is one for where actors present their work to members of an award body.
After viewing her appearance, one social media user commented: 'I just think she looks sad, like she didn't want to smile or be there.'
A second said, 'She did not need anything done she was absolutely beautiful the way she was.'
A third added: 'It doesn't make her look younger.'
Aniston has previously admitted a nose job - but claims it was to repair a 'deviated septum' - the cartilage that splits a person's two nostrils.
Eagle-eyed fans remarked that Aniston's nose had dramatically-changed shape after the procedure too, sparking speculation that she may also have had her nose surgically-altered for aesthetic reasons.
'[It was the] best thing I ever did,' she said at the time, 'I slept like a baby for the first time in years'.
'As far as all the other [rumors], as boring as it sounds, it's still mine. All of it. Still mine.'
Aniston was snapped in March this year with Sandra Bullock, 59, leaving a plastic surgery office in Connecticut that is known for facelifts and rhinoplasties.
She broke down in tears in an interview revealed this month when asked about the death of her Friends co-star Matthew Perry.
