In-N-Out has put up its prices - blaming them on the $20-an-hour minimum wage was introduced in its home state of California.
It now mean's its famous Double-Double with fries and a drink is typically more than $10 in the state's 275 restaurants.
When the new rule took efect on April 1, In-N-Out president Lynsi Snyder said she had blocked major prices rises to protect cutomers
'I was sitting in VP meetings going toe-to-toe saying, 'We can't raise the prices that much, we can't,' Snyder told Today during an interview.
But the impact of the minimum wage in the blue state - $4 more than the standard for other industries - have seen menu prices jump.

Prices are not thought to have risen at is locations outside of the Godlen State. It now also operates as far east as Texas - and is planning a restaurant for Tenessee.
A meal - a burger, fries and drink - s now typically $10.45 for a Double-Double, $8.65 for a cheeseburger, and $8.15 for a hamburger, according to the Orange County Register.
That is without tax. Adding sales tax of 9.5 percent in LA County, the Double-Double is up to $11.44.
Some are reporting higher prices in some restaurants. At Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, the Double-Double meal is $13.63 after taxes, KRON4 said.
A spokesperson for In-N-Out told KRON4 that the price hikes were directly related to the new $20-an-hour minimum wage. But they did not say when the new prices increased.
