A testy Kurt Russell was seen snapping at his fans as he stopped to sign autographs at an event in North Hollywood last weekend, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The actor, 73, attended the Television Academy's FYC event for his hit Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Saturday night, where he was later filmed throwing a hissy fit and even tossing his pen after overzealous autograph-seekers  tried to double dip.

Video of the awkward incident, obtained by DailyMail.com, shows the Hollywood star hastily signing posters from a crowd of eager fans who had gathered outside The Wolf Theater in hopes of meeting the cast after the event.

But what starts as a friendly meeting with his supporters quickly turns into a frosty  encounter when Russell loses his cool at fans trying to sneak a second autograph from him.

A clip taken by one witness in the crowd shows the moment Russell, who plays main role Lee Shaw in the sci-fi series, catches a few fans in the act and swiftly calls them out.

'I already did you, and I already did you,' he says, visibly irritated. 'Don't do that, man. See, you're going to ruin it for everyone.'

He then goes on to address the crowd as a whole, saying: 'I just want you to leave now. I asked you guys. I'll just sign one thing and I'll give everyone one thing.'

Despite his frustration, Russell carries on signing but appears to grow aggravated with the overwhelming number of autograph requests.

He then begins checking the crowd for familiar faces - at one point even dropping his pen and refusing to sign a poster upon coming across another double dipper.

'Let me see your face,' he tells a fan. 'I did you already,' he says, before dramatically slamming the pen and moving on to the next person.

An eyewitness who was among the members of the crowd told DailyMail.com Russell had become irritated despite having offered to do autographs.

'Some people were trying to double dip and he was getting upset at all of those trying even though he kept asking over and over again,' the fan said.

Russell, who was revealed to have joined the cast of the new Apple TV+ show in 2022, stars in the series alongside his son Wyatt Russell, 37.

The elder actor plays the older version of his Wyatt's character, former US Army colonel Lee Shaw.

The live-action monster series, which was recently renewed for a second season, is the sixth installment of Legendary TV's Monsterverse franchise starring Anna Sawai and Kiersey Clemons.

The show premiered in November to positive reviews and earned Kurt a Critics Choice Super Award for Best Actor in a Sci-fi/Fantasy series in April.
