A man has been hilariously roasted over his name after he attempted to pick up a woman at Starbucks.
A content creator and aspiring comedian, 34, known as Gerald Huston online captured the awkward moment and shared it to his TikTok account earlier this month.
The clip showed internet star, who has more than two million followers on the video streaming app, fearlessly approach a woman and hit on her while she was in the midst of ordering a drink at Starbucks.
The comedian, from Detroit, Michigan, began by using the lyrics from Tinashe's song Nasty as a pickup line, however, it wasn't the bold approach that shocked the woman - instead it was the man's unique name.
After she introduced herself as Ashani, he told her that his real name was actually Hubert, but that his friends called him Hubie.

Ashani did not hold back when it came to her thoughts on Gerald's moniker, and their interaction has left the internet in stitches.
The video began with the social media star walking up to Ashani and quoting the daring Tinashe song.
He said, 'Damn, is somebody gonna match my freak? Somebody gonna match my nasty?'
Confused, she replied: 'What you mean?'
'So like, you match my freak? What's your zodiac sign? What are you?' he continued.
She responded: 'I'm a Libra,' to which he commented: 'You a Libra? Me too. What's your name?'
The woman replied, 'I don't really do that anymore,' and he comedically said, 'OK, you can do me.'
She laughed before cleverly changing the topic and asking him, 'You paying for this?'
Upon learning his name, Ashani had a disgusted look on her face as she hilariously asked: 'Your mom named you Hubert? Why'd she do that?'
'How's your relationship with your mom? 'Cause like, why would she name you [that]?' she continued
Without hesitation, the man said: 'Yeah, I'll pay for that. What's your name?'
She then told him that it was Ashani, but when he revealed his moniker, she was stunned.
The cashier even got involved and revealed that she too had never met someone named Hubert before
'My name's Hubert. They call me Hubie though, for short,' he shared.
Ashani immediately had look of disgust on her face, as she quipped, 'Hubert?'
He replied: 'Why you looking like that?'
She hilariously asked: 'Your mom named you Hubert? Why'd she do that?'
He then inquired: 'What you mean, "Why'd she do that?" What's up with my name? What's wrong with my name?'
After that, Ashani asked Hubie how old he was, and he told her he was 34.
'Ain't no way,' she said, as he added, 'What you mean, "Ain't no way?" I go by Hubie for short. I know my name is kind of old.'
Ashani comedically told him, 'Don't go by that. Yeah, don't do that. How's your relationship with your mom? 'Cause like, why would she name you [that]?'
'That's messed up. Why you laughing at my name like that?' Hubie responded.
She added: 'Nah, 'cause I have never met a Hubert.'

But the Starbucks worker added: 'To be fair, my dad's name is Burton.'

'Wow. Big daddy libra,' she said, pulling out her phone as the video came to an end.
The clip was captioned: 'Rizzed her up even [though] she made fun of my name.'
