It comes as Jack wished his father Thomas Black a happy father's day.
The Shallow Hal star took a selfie with his father inside what appeared to be a church.
The duo were both smartly dressed in tuxedos as they posed together.
'Happy Father’s Day pops…you look younger than me!' Jack wrote in the caption.
Jack is currently enjoying a well-deserved break from touring the world with his comedy rock duo, Tenacious D.
The musical group are next scheduled to perform in Sydney, Australia on July 13, but tickets are already sold-out.
The duo consists of Black and his bandmate Kyle Gass.

'In a weird way, it might be Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny because that's the only movie that I wrote,' he told People of his 2006 music comedy film. 'So, that one is actually my real baby. Maybe it's not the best, but it is my proudest.'
Kyle's trademark role came in the HBO series Tenacious D (1997-2000) that features the fictional accounts of the real-life duo of the same name, which comprised Kyle and Jack, who he met in the 1990s after he joined Tim Robbins' The Actors' Gang in the early 80s.
Since the start the guys have been all about the heavy rock 'n' roll power chords and lyrics that talk about sex, Satan, and why they are 'the greatest band on Earth.'
Episodes are typically bookended by scenes of the band performing at an open mic night, with the events in between often serving as inspiration for a song performed at the end.
According to Kyle, HBO offered Tenacious D a deal to make ten episodes, but in doing so, they would have to relinquish their role as executive producers.
Ultimately, Kyle and Jack decided to make a movie instead of giving HBO creative control of Tenacious D, and they made Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny (2006).
