Trump says Obama treated Biden like a 'child' when he 'lead him off stage' and mocks White House for blaming AI

Donald Trump defended the media after the White House claimed videos of President Joe Biden freezing are 'deceptively edited.'

The former president decried Biden, 81, for 'humiliating' the U.S. on the world stage after a series of awkward interactions during international trips and domestic events.

The 78-year-old told a rally in Racine, Wisconsin, that Biden 'looked like he didn't know where the hell he was' and mocked White House aides for blaming AI and the media.

'Joe Biden is humiliating our country on the world stage,' Trump said. He's actually humiliating us – you saw what happened this weekend?! It's turning the United States into a total joke all over the world.'

He also said former President Barack Obama had to lead Biden 'off stage as though he were a child' during a recent fundraiser.

Trump also defended himself against reports he called Milwaukee a 'horrible city' during a closed-door meeting last week with Republican lawmakers.

Despite spending a good chunk of his remarks railing against Biden's flubs, Trump made his own fumble when he used the term 'clean fakes' instead of 'cheap fakes.'

'You know I love Milwaukee,' Trump said at the top of his remarks to a crowd just 30 miles south of the Wisconsin city, and in reference to the host city of the 2024 Convention said: 'I'm the one who picked Milwaukee, you know.'

Most of his remarks were focused on railing against Biden's fitness for office – despite the two being only 3.5 years apart in age.

Biden's team claims that the multiple embarrassing videos that emerged in recent weeks of the president are just 'deep fakes' or edited to make him look bad.

Biden froze both during an event to commemorate D-Day in France earlier this month and then in Italy while attending the G-7 Summit.

Another freezing incident occurred during a campaign event when former President Barack Obama was forced to guide the current president off stage.

'Crooked Joe and his handlers are insisting he's sharper than ever and they say the videos of Crooked Joe shuffling around are clean fakes. You know what a clean fake is? They're deceptively edited,' Trump said, using the incorrect term for 'deep fake.'

'They say they're deceptively edited,' he continued. 'All of the mistakes that he's made every day. He can't go anywhere without a mistake.'

The recent incidents have raised even more questions about Biden and his age and fitness for office.

'He looked like he didn't know where the hell he was, but he didn't know where he was. He's blaming it now on AI. He's saying it's AI. He doesn't know what AI is – but that's OK,' Trump said.

'They're saying the media's manipulation – oh, he's saying the media is manipulating now? On that one I have to stick up for the media,' the former president chuckled.

'He said the media's manipulating the pictures of him constantly not knowing where the hell he is. They're doing just the opposite that make them look better.'

Wisconsin is a key battleground in 2024 and is one of the few states that will determine the winner in November.

'Remember, we win Wisconsin and we win the whole thing,' Trump said.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during a press briefing when asked about the recent uptick in Biden's freezes: 'It tells you everything that we need to know about how desperate Republicans are here.'

'And instead of talking about the president's performance in office, and what I mean by that is his legislative wins, what he's been able to do for the American people across the country, we're seeing these deep fakes, these manipulated videos,' she said.

'And it is, again, done in bad faith.'

Trump listed the incidents of Biden freezing that have garnered traction recently.

'First he wandered off the G7 in Europe, the stage. He looked like he didn't know where the hell he was, but he didn't know where he was,' Trump said.

'He had to be rescued by other world leaders and they had to pull him back then he bizarrely put his face on the Pope's forehead. What was that all about?' the former president questioned. 'That was weird… Did you see the Pope? The Pope was like, what's happening? The Pope didn't really know what was happening. He said this is strange.'

'Then he froze during the celebration on the White House lawn,' he said. 'Then Barack Hussein Obama had to grab his hand and lead him off stage as though he were a child. I have to tell you, Obama could have handled that differently. He could have done it a little bit softer… He didn't have been grab him and pull him off the stage.'
