He has already triggered a health warning after posting videos of himself eating raw chicken breasts with raw eggs and smoothies.

But now notorious Instagram user the rawmeatproject is back — and this time with a daily diet of raw testicles extracted from a bull.

The unnamed man, who has 150,000 Instagram followers and hails from Florida, says the 'experiments' are 'for science' and 'to boost testosterone'.

In one clip, which has more than 38,000 likes, he shows himself eating a whole testicle before washing it down with a cup of blood. In another, he adds lettuce and tomato to a burger bun alongside the testicle, fashioning a 'ball burger'.

According to the content creator, his unlikely choice of meat tastes like, 'a scallop that's been sitting in ground beef for six days'.

He is now seven days into the 'project', and is expected to continue until he becomes unwell.

The man first attracted attention for his rawchickenproject earlier this year, which lasted 100 days.

In it, the man put raw chicken breasts in smoothies, on pizza — and washed down a chicken breast with a cup of raw eggs and orange juice.

Two years ago he did another experiment, where he ate raw meat at Whole Foods every day for 200 days — eventually ending the test because he 'got bored'.

Instagram users have reacted with horror to his posts, declaring his experiment 'nasty' and 'beyond gross'.

Experts warn people against eating all forms of raw meat due to risks of contamination with bacteria like salmonella — which can cause stomach aches or, in serious cases, sepsis if the bacteria spreads to other areas in the body.

Four-hundred and twenty Americans die from the bacteria every year, statistics show, while 1.35million are infected and 26,500 are hospitalized.

The CDC says whole cuts of meat should be cooked to at least 145F (62C) before consumption in order to kill off any dangerous bacteria lurking within them.

The man has now reached day seven of his new diet, and claims his energy levels have been 'solid' and he has been able to play basketball daily.

The testicles weigh about 1lb each, he said, and cost $20 - with the man purchasing them locally.

He first started documenting his raw meat consumption last year after suffering an acne outbreak, which he said was eased by switching to raw foods.

After sharing videos of himself eating a raw chicken breast every day for 100 days, the experiment ended in March this year.

Revealing his experiment online, the individual wrote: 'We are always told that organ meats, especially testicles, will take you to the next level.

'How would eating the balls of a cow not make you have huge balls yourself?

'This is the science we are here to test. I will be eating balls and updating daily on many aspects of how I feel physically and mentally. I'll update if my energy is crazy or if my pee pee gets larger etc.'

Some users have suspicions that the experiment is a parody, although this has not been verified.

People have eaten cooked anima; testicles for centuries, with the organs prized as a great source of protein and nutrients — and giving rise to dishes including Rocky Mountain oysters in the US and testicle goulash in Serbia.

More recently, some influencers online — such as 'The Liver King', famous for his raw meat diet — have posted videos of themselves eating testicles raw online — claiming it has health benefits and can boost testosterone levels.

But there is no scientific evidence to prove this is true.
