Biden campaign hits back over Joe's 'freezing' videos with montage of Trump 'getting confused, lost, wandering off, and waving to nobody'

President Joe Biden's campaign tried to play pot, meet kettle on Thursday by highlighting some of former President Donald Trump's more awkward moments.

The @BidenHQ X account shared a nearly 2.5 minute-long video to counter a trio of 'cheap fake' videos where 81-year-old Biden appears to 'freeze' or wander away from world leaders.

At recent campaign stops, Trump, 78, has had a field day with these viral videos, knocking Biden for 'not knowing where the hell he is.'

'Here is a montage of Donald Trump getting confused, lost, wandering off, and waving to nobody,' the Biden campaign countered.

The clips show Trump, during his presidency, departing events before he's supposed to, or awkwardly standing in place when he's supposed to be exiting.

'Argentine president left standing awkwardly after Trump wanders off,' read one headline after a mix-up at the 2018 G20.

In another video clip Trump's shown disembarking from Air Force One and ignoring the so-called Beast, the presidential limousine, which is right in front of him.

He walks away from the car - likely looking for Marine One, the presidential helicopter - only to be guided to the large black vehicle by an aide.

In other videos, Trump seemingly waves at people that are not there.

The 2024 race has long been a tussle over gaffes and stumbles, as Biden is the country's oldest president and Trump will be the oldest person ever sworn-in should he win a second, non-consecutive term in November.

Polling throughout this cycle has shown that Americans are more concerned about Biden's age than Trump's - something the Biden campaign hopes to remedy by showing that Trump is plagued by senior moments too.

The two will have their first general election debate next week.

This month, Biden appeared to wander off during a parachute demonstration while in France to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

When the shot's at a wider angle, it's clear that Biden was engaging with paratroopers who've just landed, but Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni guides him over to the group of world leaders for a picture - giving the appearance he was looking the wrong way.

A Juneteenth video of Biden also went viral - where he smiles and stands still while other members of the audience on the White House's South Lawn bounce and sway to the music.

And then at Saturday's star-studded Los Angeles fundraiser, Biden appeared to stick onstage too long, and was guided off by former President Barack Obama.

During his rally Tuesday in Racine, Wisconsin, Trump claimed that Obama had to lead Biden 'off stage as though he were a child.'

At his large birthday affair in Palm Beach, Florida Friday, the presumptive Republican nominee mocked the parachute video.

'The one beauty was here's a parachute landing, everybody's watching and he's turned around in the other direction,' Trump said. 'The new leader of Italy did a great job. She said, "turn around you fool."'

But as Trump has made those attacks, he's flubbed things too - calling 'cheap fakes' 'clean fakes' during his rally in Racine, and messing up Rep. Ronny Jackson's name during an appearance Saturday in Detroit

'I took a cognitive test. And I asked him, Doc Ronnie, Doc Ronnie Johnson. Does everyone know Ronnie Johnson congressman from Texas, he was the White House doctor?' Trump asked.

He had identified Jackson correctly the day before in Florida, when he also boasted about taking the cognitive exam.

'I aced it,' Trump said with a grin.
