Democrat rips 'unhinged' colleague Jamaal Bowman for 'unbecoming' foul-mouthed Bronx rally with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez filled with f-bombs

A New York Democrat ridiculed his progressive 'Squad' colleague for an 'unhinged' and expletive-filled campaign rally, saying the angry tirade was totally inappropriate.

'Squad' member Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., was filmed screaming and swearing over the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Political Action Committee (AIPAC), who is backing his primary challenger George Latimer.

'We are going to show f---ing AIPAC, the power of the motherf---ing South Bronx!' Bowman yelled Saturday at a rally with fellow progressive 'Squad' member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.

'People ask me why I got a foul mouth. What am I supposed to do? You're coming after me! You're coming after my family! You're coming after my children,' Bowman proclaimed. 'I'm not supposed to fight back?'

'We’re going to show them who the f–k we are!' Bowman added while jumping and waving his arms on stage.

Reacting to a clip of the f-bomb filled speech posted on X, Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., shamed the progressive: 'The level of profanity here is so shocking as to be unbecoming of a Member of Congress.'

'There is nothing in Jamaal Bowman's unhinged tirade that remotely resembles the decency of the people I know and represent in the South Bronx,' Torres continued.

Torres, who left the House Progressive Caucus earlier this year over differences in Israel policy, previously said he may stay away from commenting on the Bowman's primary race.

He told Axios he has a 'general rule of not weighing in against a Congressional Democrat who has not weighed in against me.'

'But Bowman’s gratuitous attack on my character might cause me to rethink that rule,' he said earlier this month.

His post calling Bowman's behavior 'unhinged' and 'shocking' is likely a return salvo for the 'Squad' member saying Torres's position is 'calculated' and likely done in an effort to gain more political power as opposed to actually caring about the war.

'I think [Torres is] trying to gain political power for himself towards an ultimate objective. I don't know if it's U.S. Senate. I don't know what it is. But it's something,' Bowman said.

Beyond the spat with Torres, the progressive has been very vocal about his distaste for Israel during their war with Hamas.

He has often pushed for an immediate ceasefire in the war, alleged that Israel is guilty of genocide and war crimes and has demanded Joe Biden's White House stop sending all funds to the Jewish nation, not just those for its war.

His loud opposition to Israel has earned him the scorn of AIPAC, which supports both Democrats and Republicans supportive of Israel.

The group has poured nearly $15 million into Bowmans race against Westchester County Executive Latimer.

So much money has poured in that the Democrat primary is now thought to be the most expensive in history.

'Organized people will always beat organized money,' Bowman posted on X Monday.

'We’re fighting back against AIPAC and their Republican billionaires who are trying to buy NY-16. We’re showing them that across the country, our communities are not for sale!'

However, a spokesperson for AIPAC told DailyMail.com: 'Rep. Bowman’s scurrilous and shameful attacks won’t hide his record of aligning with the extremist, anti-Israel fringe.'

'In contrast to his opponent, George Latimer is a pro-Israel progressive who stands with the Jewish state as it battles Iranian terrorist proxies.'

Shortly after the outbreak of the conflict on October 7, 2023, Bowman called Israel's claims that Hamas slaughtered babies and raped women 'propaganda.'

'There was propaganda used at the beginning of the siege,' he can be heard claiming loudly as cars passed noisily behind him on a busy road. The video was reportedly shot over a month after the initial attack on November 17.

'There's still no evidence of beheaded babies or raped women,' he continues, receiving affirmation from the crowd. 'But they've still been using that lie...propaganda.'

Bowman had condemned the October 7 attacks on Israel before his 'propaganda' comment and has done so repeatedly since then.
