A TikTok user wondered if her Hinge date gave off a red flag and was shocked to learn what triggered his laughter over some supposed seafood.
The woman named Rihanna (@thediaryofrihanna) recalled a horror story about her recent date in a TikTok video she posted on June 20.
Rihanna's date selected the restaurant, and she was excited to enjoy some food with him.
Once the man noticed the restaurant had Rocky Mountain oysters, he insisted Rihanna try them because they were 'really delicious' and he grew up eating them.
As she took a bite of the Rocky Mountain oyster, he couldn't stop laughing. The, another TikTok user informed her that it was another word for a bull testicle.
Rihanna posted a TikTok videolast week after her hinge date acted suspicious while she tried rocky mountain oysters, which unbeknownst to her, were bull testicles
Rihanna didn't expect her Hinge date to have any red flags before they met in person.
'I met this guy on Hinge... Hinge in itself is already a red flag,' she said.
'We get to the restaurant, our conversations are going really good, and we start looking at the menu.'
Rihanna's date was seemingly excited to see that the restaurant offered Rocky Mountain oysters.
'We order our drinks, he orders his oysters, and everything's good,' said Rihanna.
'The oysters come to the table, and don't look like oysters I'm used to seeing.'
Rihanna, who had never heard of Rocky Mountain oysters, initially thought they were a kind of seafood and continued to think so until she found out the truth from a commenter.
'He gives me a bite, and I'm like, "This doesn't taste like seafood," and he starts laughing,' said Rihanna.
'I thought it was kind of a friendly laugh, but he didn't stop laughing, and I started feeling really uncomfortable.'
Rihanna thought the oysters had a 'familiar flavor,' but she couldn't put her finger on where she had tasted it before.

Her video, which has received over one million views, has more than 80,000 comments, one of which is from a TikTok user mentioned in Rihanna's June 22 reaction video.
'Girl, those are bull testicles, not seafood. This is why he kept laughing, but he should've explained it to you,' a TikToker wrote two days ago.
This comment inspired Rihanna to make a second video about her Hinge date horror story, which includes an understandably dramatic reaction.
She repeatedly called herself a Christian woman and called herself 'virgin-ish.'
'I don't put b--s in my mouth that much. I want to make it clear that I am a Christian woman... I made a pledge not to do that before marriage,' she screamed in her car.
She gagged more than once when she attempted to admit to taking a bite of a bull testicle, but she did not speak ill of her date.

Rocky Mountain oysters are popular dishes in select western states. They are made from bull testicles and are usually deep-fried.
The dish is also known as prairie oysters, calf fries, and swinging beef, according to About Boulder.
Rocky Mountain oysters are also a popular dish served at fairs or festivals in the western US, and they have gained popularity in other countries, including Canada.
About Boulder wrote in 2023 that restaurant guests in Colorado praised the Rocky Mountain oysters at Dark Horse.
The Boulder eatery, which is open seven days a week, still serves Rocky Mountain oysters.
The menu describes them as 'Colorado classic cow fries served breaded with side of horseradish.'
TikTok users have wrote in the comment sections of both videos that they are not up for trying Rocky Mountain oysters, but one person revealed that they heard the dish was 'delicious.'
Yelp reviewers have praised the Rocky Mountain oysters from Boulder, Colorado, landmark, Dark Horse
'They taste like chicken. We have a testicle festival here every year; it's fine; us humans eat everything,' a commenter wrote in one of the videos yesterday.
Other commenters from the first video actually said her date's actions were a 'red flag,' not because of the laughing, but because of what he purposely didn't tell her.
'The red flag is him not telling you what Rocky Mountain oysters were before you tried them,' a TikToker wrote.
'As soon as he saw them on the menu and found out you never heard of them, he knew exactly what he was going to do. No to a second date,' one person commented.
