Former President Donald Trump is demanding 'crooked' Joe Biden take a drug test ahead of this week's presidential debate, saying he would also take one.
The ex-president's request comes after his former White House doctor, Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, who served under both President Obama and Trump, asked Biden to take a drug screening ahead of the televised event.
According to a letter Jackson sent to Biden and his top White House doctor obtained by DailyMail.com, the Republican requested drug tests for the president before and after Thursday's debate.
'I demand that you submit to a clinically validated drug test in order to reassure the American people that you are mentally fit to serve as President and not relying on performance enhancing drugs to help you with your debate performance or on a day-to-day basis to assist you in performing your duties as President of the United States.'
Former President Donald Trump called on Joe Biden to take a drug test ahead of Thursday's presidential debate on CNN. His demand came after his former White House doctor, Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, sent a letter to Biden asking for a drug screening
'This drug test should be administered both immediately before and after the debate and should include, but not be limited to, performance enhancing drugs,' Jackson continued in his letter to Joe Biden and his top White House physician, Dr. Kevin O'Connor.
Ratcheting up the pressure, Jackson specifically includes Biden's main White House physician Kevin O'Connor in the note to the president and his entire cabinet, telling the doctor how he has a duty to the American people to complete the drug test.
'Dr. O'Connor, you are included in this letter to the President, and the entire Cabinet is copied, because you all have an obligation, not only to President Biden, but to the Office of the President and to the American people,' Jackson wrote.
'The American people deserve transparency regarding the President's mental as well as physical well-being and capabilities. To date, you and the entirety of the President's Cabinet have failed in that responsibility.'
After the letter circualted, former President Donald Trump chimed in saying he too would take a drug test.
'DRUG TEST FOR CROOKED JOE BIDEN??? I WOULD, ALSO, IMMEDIATELY AGREE TO ONE!!!' Trump posted on his Truth Social app.
But its not the first time the 45th president has consented to a drug screening before a presidential debate.
Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, sent a letter Monday to Biden and his top White House doctor demanding the president submit drug tests before and after this week's debate
Jackson claims that a number of reports have indicated Biden's concerning mental decline and that a drug test would convince voters that the president is not medicating away symptoms of his advancing age

Jackson has called on Biden to resign due to his age, calling him 'mentally incompetent'
In 2020, Trump said he would be willing to take a drug screening ahead of the presidential debates, adding that Biden should as well.
Similarly in 2016, Trump said he would take a drug test if Hillary Clinton would also.
Trump, who just turned 78, last weekend also demanded Biden take a cognitive test, even while botching the name his former doctor Ronny Jackson, calling him 'Ronny Johnson' repeatedly.
Jackson's letter to Biden and O'Connor comes after a damning Wall Street Journal article highlighted concerns over the president's age and competency from over 40 sources close to the commander-in-chief.
Democrats, however, were quick to call WSJ's reporting 'bulls***' and claimed instead that Biden is 'vigorous' and 'dynamic.
It also comes after another bombshell report from the Department of Justice, which found that Biden, who illegally withheld classified federal documents, should not be prosecuted by the agency because a jury would likely find the president as 'a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory' and would not side with the DOJ.
The DOJ's assessment of Biden later prompted some lawmakers to call for the invocation of the 25th Amendment to remove the president for being incompetent.
Jackson has called on Biden to take multiple cognitive tests to prove his fitness for office
Jackson previously caught flak from a 2018 CNN report that interviewed members of the White House medical unit.
They said his philosophy was to hand out medications without asking too many questions. The report indicates how White House officials could get the sleeping medication Ambien or the antibiotic Z-Pak by simply asking.
Still, his concern over Biden's age is one shared by many Americans.
Almost half of likely voters expect President Joe Biden to make a series of embarrassing flubs when he goes to head-to-head with Donald Trump in their first debate this month.
Some 49 percent think he will forget where he is and 41 percent said they expect him to walk off the wrong side of the stage, according to a new poll by J.L. Partners.
Another 40 percent think he will trouble standing up during the CNN debate in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 27.
In contrast, voters expect a domineering performance from his Republican rival, and overwhelming expect him to emerge the winner.
Some 79 percent expect Trump to interrupt Biden and 54 percent think his microphone will be cut off at some point.
The debate is scheduled for Thursday, June 27, at 9 p.m. and it will last for 90 minutes.
