The Canadian rapper unsurprisingly bet half a million on the team from north of the border, which would have won him $1.25m.
Unfortunately, despite overcoming a 0-3 deficit to force a Game 7 on Monday, the Oilers failed to gain their sixth franchise title, and the Drake curse may once again be responsible for their demise.
Before the thriller of a series, Drake placed another half-million wager on the NBA Finals, favoring the Dallas Mavericks.
However, Luka Doncic and Co. would fall to Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics in five games, despite an incredibly dominant performance at home in Game 4.
