Orange you mad you can't figure it out? Well, hundreds of TiKTok users certainly are after one eagle-eyed man stumbled across an unsolvable optical illusion - declaring it may be a glitch in the Matrix.

The now-viral video, uploaded by US-based content creator Eddie, shows the reflection of a bright orange Corvette C8 in a shop window - however, it doesn't appear to be in the carpark.

He zoomed up on the window of the pizza shop in Fresno, California, where the conspicuous vehicle can clearly be seen.

But, when he zooms out to show the carpark to where the Corvette should be, the carpark is void of the orange car.

'Can someone explain?' Eddie captioned the clip, which has since been viewed over 2.3 million times.

Eddie panned around the mostly empty carpark for good measure,  where there definitely wasn't an orange car in sight.

'Where is this car?' he asked in the clip. 'I seriously don't see that car anywhere.'

Millions of TikTok users were baffled - and freaked out - by the apparent optical illusion.

'Parallel dimensions,' one user declared.

'That's the portal, it's on the other side,' agreed another.

Others swear they cracked the code, posting their theories in the comments of the video.

Many viewers claimed they could see the top of the orange car through the windshield of the Mercedes SUV, indicating the Corvette was parked in front of it.

'It's right in front of the black SUV you can see the orange roof through the windshield,' someone declared.

'Based on the line of sight. It's behind that Mercedes,' agreed another user.

'In the reflection you can see a bush in the background of the C8. When you pan left you can see the bush, but the C8 is across the lot.'

'It's behind the bush by the coffee shop/bus stop looking thing farther back,' someone else commented.

'It's reflecting from a ways. Cool optical illusion!'

Eddie later uploaded another clip of the same carpark to prove the car wasn't inside the pizza shop or a display.

As it was a different time of day, the interior of the pizza shop can be seen, as well as the cars parked outside the front of the store.

'There's no car in here,' he confirmed,  as he filmed the store.

The phrase a 'glitch in the Matrix' comes from the 1999 movie The Matrix, starring Keneu Reeves, which presented the idea that humanity is living in a giant simulation.

It's now used to described unexplainable illusions or occurrences that seem illogical.

Last year, a woman went viral on TikTok after posting a clip of her chickens stopping place mid-run for more than two minutes.

In the clip, user Brianna Antionette showed herself feeding at least five hungry chickens that sprinted away just seconds into the clip.

The birds suddenly stopped running at the same time and remained in place near a shiny green light despite Antionette's attempts to get them to move.

'Have you ever seen a glitch in the Matrix,' she wrote on the video.
