Las Vegas Raiders head coach and former NFL linebacker Antonio Pierce has been named in his wife's bankruptcy filing in Arizona, where he allegedly invested in car dealerships that defaulted on $28 million in loans.

According to Jocelyn Pierce's June 12 filing in US Bankruptcy Court in Arizona, which has been obtained by DailyMail.com, lenders including Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation and Hyundai Capital America are attempting to garnish Antonio's wages with the Raiders.

Jocelyn made the bankruptcy filing to 'protect her assets,' according to documents filed on her behalf. After receiving an extension, Jocelyn has until July 12 to pull together all information concerning 'community property' between her and her husband, whom she married in 2008.

In her filing, Jocelyn claims Antonio was a 'passive investor' in several car dealerships in the 2010s, but when the businesses defaulted on loans, the lenders were able to produce documents showing the 45-year-old football coach to be a guarantor.

The case was first revealed on X by labor attorney Jason Morrin. An attorney representing Jocelyn Pierce did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's request for comment.

Antonio's new salary has not been revealed publicly since he was promoted from interim coach to head coach by the Raiders in January. The former Giants and Redskins linebacker replaced fired head coach Josh McDaniels in October. The Raiders are coming off an 8-9 season after going 5-4 and narrowly missing the playoffs with Pierce at the helm.

Previously, the former Super Bowl winner was named as a defendant in a class-action lawsuit in Pennsylvania, which remains open, according to a court filing obtained by DailyMail.com. Another former Giants linebacker, Jessie Armstead, is also listed in that case.

Aside from the NFL, Pierce is perhaps best known for rushing teammate Plaxico Burress to the hospital after the Giants wide receiver accidentally shot himself at a strip club in 2008. Pierce was later cleared of any criminal wrongdoing in the incident.

Antonio and Jocelyn married in 2008. And according to multiple reports, he has seven children.
