Olivia Dunne's future in gymnastics is still up in the air as she revealed where she stands in terms of the sport.
Dunne, 21, wrapped up her senior season with LSU gymnastics as part of the program's first NCAA national championship team in April.
While speaking to the New York Post, Dunne addressed her fifth-year eligibility in the NCAA. Furthermore, she talked about competing in the Olympics in Paris.
'So I do have eligibility for a fifth year, which I haven't decided yet,' she told the Post. 'I am thinking about it… But I do have eligibility [for another year at LSU].
'I don't think I'm going to try for the Olympics or anything after, since I once competed for Team USA and I closed that chapter and went to LSU.'

Aside from being an athlete, Dunne has found tremendous success as an influencer and model
The Tigers secured their first NCAA title by scoring 198.225 to beat California (197.850), Utah (197.800) and Florida (197.4375) at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.
“The national championship, that was obviously the end goal,” Dunne said. “That was the cherry on top of my senior year. It’s just so cool to be able to make history like with my whole team.”
Dunne was one of four seniors from the Tigers' squad. Joining her class are Elena Arenas, Haleigh Bryant, and Chase Brock.
Brock announced in May that she will practice her final year of eligibility. Same went for Bryant, who was crowned the 2024 NCAA All-Around Champion. The latter announced her return shortly after the team brought the trophy to Baton Rouge.

'I would do 100 more years of gymnastics if my body was able,' Arenas wrote in a post.
As for Dunne, her first four years at LSU saw her add achievements such as the 2023 SEC Academic Honor Roll, 2022 SEC Academic Honor Roll, 2021 WCGA All-American, 2021 WCGA All-American, and 2021 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll to her resume.
Dunne holds a career-high score of 9.925 in bars, which she achieved in 2021 against Auburn and 2022 against Centenary. She also holds a 9.90 personal record on the floor, which she secured against Alabama in 2022.
