Kelly Clarkson shared a glimpse into her failed marriage to Brandon Blackstock during a chat with John Cena on Monday's The Kelly Clarkson Show, revealing they were both 'horrible' at remembering their wedding anniversary.
The 42-year-old singer, who divorced her ex-husband in 2021, discussed her 'horrible' habit during a sit down chat with actor and WWE star, 47, as he revealed why he had two wedding ceremonies with his wife Shay Shariatzadeh, 37.
'I hear you had two weddings, one wasn't enough,' Kelly probed, to which John replied: 'You're right, one wasn't enough.
'We chose to get married during the pandemic and that was because we wanted to share with each other our promise to spend our life together.
'And, we wanted to surround ourselves with those we love when the world opened and gave us an opportunity to do that.

The 42-year-old singer was married to Brandon, 47, for nearly seven years, before she filed for divorce in 2021
Kelly made the revelation during an interview with actor and WWE star John Cena
'We were grateful enough to have two weddings which means two anniversaries, and another two days in the calendar we can look at each other's eyes and realize we both made the right choice.'
John originally tied the knot to Shay on October 12, 2020, at an attorney's office in Tampa, Florida.
They then married for a second time in Vancouver on January 15, 2022.
After hearing John's sweet anecdote, Kelly then quipped: 'I feel like such a jerk. I have a problem remembering one anniversary [and] you have to remember two!'
'I'm not saying sometimes they don't slip my mind,' John retorted.
Making a jibe at herself and her ex-Brandon, 47, Kelly, admitted: 'I'm the worst. Luckily my ex was too - we were both horrible.'
Kelly married Brandon on October 20, 2013, in Walland, Tennessee.
Before she filed for divorce in June 2020, they welcomed daughter River, 10, and son Remington, eight.
Kelly revealed in March that she has no regrets over ending her marriage to Brandon (pictured together at the CMT Music Awards in 2018)

During their marriage, Brandon served as her manager.
Despite their divorce being finalized in March 2022, Kelly and Brandon will head to court in August over missing commission fees.
The pair remain at odds over whether the fees Brandon collected on deals he helped broker for his former spouse were in violation of the California Talent Agencies Act.
The law prohibits anyone other than the licensed talent from taking commission on deals procured for a professional artist.
Back in November, a California labor commissioner ruled that Brandon owed Kelly $2.6 million because he was securing deals he wasn't legally allowed to.
Her comments came after John confirmed that he had two wedding ceremonies with his wife Shay Shariatzadeh - one in 2020 and another in 2022
The $2.6 million figure goes back to 2017, though Kelly filed in a March lawsuit that he had actually been violating these laws since 2007, and now wants a more thorough accounting.
In March, Kelly said that she has 'no regrets' over ending her nearly seven-year marriage to Brandon.
Two years after finalizing their divorce, a source close to Kelly told People that she was feeling better than ever and 'doing really well.'
'She is happy that she left LA for NY. She has the primary custody of the kids and is a great mom,' they said.
The insider noted that 'although she loves working, the kids are her world.'
