Twilight star Taylor Lautner's wife, Taylor Dome, revealed that she was left 'terrified' after recently discovering a 'hard lump' on her breast while in the shower.

During Wednesday's episode of her podcast The Squeeze, which she co-hosts with her spouse, the 27-year-old influencer, who is also a registered nurse, revealed that she's 'had a few little health scares over the past couple months.'

While washing her body, Dome recalled the frightening moment that she felt a lump on her boob.

'I kinda, like, paused for a second and was like, "Wait. What?" And then I pressed on it again and started to feel it. And there was this hard lump there,' the College of the Canyons graduate said.

The discovery left her 'completely froze' as she stood in the shower 'literally thinking every single thought in the world.'

Lautner, 32, added that the lump was 'very noticeable' and said in moments like that 'of course, your mind goes to, you know, the worst.'

'Feeling something that is foreign in your body, especially there, it was terrifying, and I just kind of like immediately started bawling,' she said.

Dome said she started 'sobbing' once she told Lautner, who knew something was 'wrong' before she even confided in him.

'When you told me, I was terrified but trying not to show you that I was terrified,' he said. 'I [didn't] want you any more worried than you were.'

After going to a a breast center for an ultrasound, Dome said thankfully 'everything was clear.'

'The tissue can just, like, move around hormonally. It can change,' she said. 'It's still there to this day, and it hasn't gone away.'

Launter said 'it's weird and scary because you can only feel it going from one direction.'

'It could have been there for who knows how long,' he added.

Dome went on to remind other woman to take this as a 'reminder to do the self-examination in the shower.'

'Breast cancer doesn't run in my family, but I've had a lot of cancer within my family, so I think that's why I was also very scared,' she said. 'It's also just important for people to know — as hard as it is — to know that it is very normal for that to happen.'

About a month after the scare, Dome revealed that she found herself 'in a very depressive state.'

'I was not wanting to get out of bed — period,' she shared. 'I did not wanna work at all. I was just aimlessly scrolling, aimlessly watching Netflix. I was having really bad anxiety attacks.'

At that time, she said she was 'just laying in bed,' unable to move and 'crying.'

Dome went on to credit her husband for sticking by her side and laying next to her as she tried to figure out what was wrong.

'It had been a long time since you had like a bad anxiety attack like that,' he recalled.

'This was one of those where your chest feels like it's caving in. I've never had one nearly as bad as this,' Lautner said.

Ultimately, Dome realized that she was exhibiting side effects from going off birth control.

Although she had not actively planned on going off the pill, she said she was left without a current birth control prescription after her regular doctor retired.

After two weeks of feeling unwell and not like herself, she realized that she was 'withdrawing' from her birth control, which she has been on for ten years.

'Once I've realized it, I slightly felt better about it [but] there was nothing I could do about it besides to figure out how to get back on my birth control,' Dome noted.

Dome ended up contacting the doctor who referred her to the breast center about the issue and received a new prescription 'literally within minutes.'

'That was my one positive from my lump,' she mused. 'That was able to help solve the problem.'

'We're lumpy, but we're healthy,' she declared.
