Dr. Youn started things off with just one easy rule - wearing sunglasses.
'Not only will it protect the sensitive eyelid skin from the UV rays of the sun, but it also will prevent you from squinting, which can create crow's feet wrinkles,' he explained.
Next on the anti-aging cocktail list, he shared that you should reduce the amount of ultra-processed foods that you're eating, like chips and sweets.
Eating salty foods can cause your body to hold onto extra water, which can contribute to puffiness, according to John's Hopkins Medicine.
'Not only are they filled with salt, but they can be inflammatory, increasing the amount of puffiness around your eyes,' he revealed.
The third tip that the doctor offered was to make sure you have your allergies under control this season.
He also advised to avoid rubbing under your eyes if they are itchy or irritated.
'The eyelid skin is some of the thinnest skin of the whole body, and aggressively rubbing that skin can cause it to stretch out,' the plastic surgeon shared.

Finally, Dr. Youn recommended using a retinol eye cream to combat signs of aging under the eyes.
Retinol is a form of Vitamin A, and is often used topically to treat acne and diminish the looks of wrinkles and dark spots, per Cleveland Clinic.
It's also loved by celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lopez and Halle Berry.
'Retinol has been shown to increase the collagen in the skin and can help prevent the skin from getting thin, crepe-y, and wrinkly,' the doctor explained.
So, the next time you're feeling some concern about your under eyes, make sure to tick off some of the boxes that Dr. Youn shared.
