It's no secret that Margot Robbie is a huge fan of the Harry Potter franchise, having been open about her Wizarding World obsession on numerous occasions.

But the Hollywood megastar's producer husband Tom Ackerley actually made his own appearance in the popular movies.

Margot's British partner, 34, starred as an extra in 2004's Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban, playing a student at beloved Hogwarts - he was ruthlessly pushed out of the way by Draco in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it-scene.

The resurfaced clip comes as it was revealed the couple, who met on the set of the World War II drama Suite Française in 2013, are expecting their first child together.

Margot first spoke about the fun fact when she appeared on The Graham Norton Show in 2020.

'My husband is in the Harry Potter movies,' the actress, 34, proudly told Graham.

Joking, she added: 'I know, I was like, "Had you told me sooner we would've been married very quickly".'

Margot went on to explain: 'He was an extra. When he was a little kid, he was one of the Slytherin extras. When Draco pushes some kids out of the way to see Buckbeak in the third book, he pushes my husband out of the way.'

The star seemed thrilled by this, as she has always been open about her fascination with the Harry Potter franchise.

In 2016, the two-time Oscar nominee revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she once got a pair of glasses to look like The Boy Who Lived.

She shared an old photo of herself as a 13-year-old, tucked into bed while reading Harry Potter, and admitted she'd lied about her vision to get the spectacles.

'I'm drinking a cup of tea, I'm in bed, I'm really enjoying myself reading Harry Potter, I have braces, which I had for two years, I was really into slicking my hair back - God knows why - and I'm wearing glasses, which I didn't actually need.'

'I have 20/20 vision, and I lied to get glasses!' she added.

'Really, why?' Jimmy asked in amazement, to which Margot replied: 'So I could look like Harry Potter!'

Margot and Tom met in 2014, married in 2016 and are co-producers on a number of projects, including Hulu's Dollface, through their production company LuckyCap Entertainment.

They first encountered each other while working on Suite Française in 2013, where he was an assistant director and she was in front of the camera.

'I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit,' she told People previously of their early romance.

'And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, Oh, he would never love me back. Don't make it weird, Margot.

'Don't be stupid and tell him that you like him. And then it happened, and I was like, Of course we're together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before,' she said

They started dating the following year in 2014 and got married in 2016.

The couple keep their relationship largely out of the public eye and didn't walk the red carpet together until 2017, almost a full year after their wedding.

They have worked together on several projects including I, Tonya, Birds of Prey and Barbie.
