Kim Kardashian's personal trainer reveals how you can transform your body with just FIVE MINUTES a day

Trainer to the stars Senada Greca has worked with some high profile celebrities in her time - and according to the fitness expert, getting a Hollywood figure is only five minutes a day away.

The personal trainer, who has worked with stars such as Kim Kardashian and Miranda Kerr, appeared on the Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast, where she shared her tricks to building healthy habits.

Senada, who is also the founder of the app ReRise, offered advice to those unsure as to how to kick off their own fitness journey.

'I always say start small,' she advised. 'One step at a time.'

'Start with 20 minutes, start with five minutes, or even one minute it - and then build that habit,' Senada suggested.

The fitness guru explained that this was about creating a consistent habit 'day after day.'

'A lot of the time we think that motivation is what is needed and it is not,' she shared.

The expert explained that basically, building healthy habits comes down to making it more accessible for you to make your own healthy decisions.

'It's that habit that we create on a daily basis,' she quipped. 

Senada also spoke about the importance of creating a routine, suggesting working out at the same time every day and making it as easy for yourself as possible.

'If you're going to the gym then lay out your workout clothes, lay out your shoes the night before - some people actually even wear their workout clothes to sleep because it eliminates another step,' she suggested.

'So how can you make it more accessible and easy for yourself to to accomplish that?' the fitness expert added. 'Don't leave it up to chance for later in the day.'

Senada acknowledged that working out for only five minutes seems like a miniscule amount to start off with, but says it's the building block for a steady foundation to create a solid habit when working out.

'That's what's key about making fitness a long a lifelong activity, because I see it as not a sprint - it's a lifelong marathon,' she pointed out.

Senada told Jay you 'won't see drastic results,' at the beginning, but it's about building up to something bigger.

'Five minutes a day for a week, 10 minutes the next week for a week, and then you start building from there again - that makes it just more accessible,' the celebrity trainer pointed out.

In terms of what you can achieve in five minutes, the fitness fanatic suggests starting with a walk or run on a treadmill, followed by some squats or deadlifts.

'It will target some of the biggest muscles in your body - maybe do some rows and then you got a few movements covered,' she explained.

She had some suggestions for at-home workouts for people without gym equipment, such as squatting from sitting to standing on the couch or using the couch for hip thrusts.

'I'm a big believer that you can turn anything around your house into something to work out with,' she said.

The fitness expert isn't just about physically working out but also credits meditation in helping her mental health.

'Meditation is huge, I try to incorporate that every day,' she shared, adding she also journals before going to bed and practices gratitude.

'She shows up on time and is ready to go, never does she complain or back away from something,' the trainer gushed.

Senada added that working with celebrities helped her spread of message of strength.

'I believe in working with these people that have such high influence because of the impact that they will have on the larger population,' she explained.

'Through them I can send a message of strength for women, so strength is beautiful, strength is confidence - whatever that looks like,' she continued.

'Strength doesn't have to to come with big muscles but if I can send that message of strength to especially young women than my purpose is fulfilled.'
