Bryan Johnson has spent millions of dollars on his quest for eternal youth in the last few years on a mission to reduce his age, recently undergoing a cutting edge stem cell procedure.

The biohacker, from California, traveled to a luxury resort in the Bahamas, co-owned by Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake, to get 300 million stem cells injected into his shoulders, hips and knees.

The stem cells are sourced from young Swedish bone marrow by a company called Cell Colars Clinical, in an effort to increase his longevity and improve joint health.

Johnson, 46, added he underwent the procedure in an effort to match his total bone mineral density throughout his body, which at the moment sits in the top 99.8 per cent for 30-year-olds.

'Each joint stem cells are the body's repair system, those healthy young Swedish cells should multiply in my body future proofing all of my major joints and taking me one step closer to age 18,' Johnson explained in the video posted to YouTube.

Bryan's father also got 100 millions stem cells injected in a less intense version of the procedure, which were injected directly into his bloodstream to aid in overall body rejuvenation.

The stem cells traveled 5,000 miles from Sweden to the Bahamas, transported in cryo tanks filled with liquid nitrogen.

'Once they arrive we'll have a limited window of opportunity to inject them into my body before they expire,' Johnson explained nervously.

The cells were injected in two parts - 150 million one day and 150 million the next.

On day one he was injected in both knees and the right hip, while day two focused on the left hip and both shoulders. He was administered local anesthetics for both.

He admitted he was feeling 'pretty rough' after going out and socializing following the first round of injections.

'Turns out it's a lot, My entire body it just feels like it's stiffened up and it can't move,' he explained. 'It feels like I've been in a car crash - my body just aches.'

Johnson shared the trial will involve follow-up visits at one, three, six, and 12 months.

'Aside from the study protocol, we will measure my joints again with MRI in six months to assess whether the therapy works,' the biohacker explained. 'The 12-month time point will also be informative. '

'The big idea here: what if every 12 months we did a series of therapies, like this one, that repaired the damage (and injuries) that occurred that year. Time passes, but our bodies remain the same age,' he explained.

'Wouldn't that be cool.'

It's not the first time Johnson has undergone experimental treatments in his quest. In June, he revealed he traveled to a remote island for a $20,000 treatment during his search for the 'fountain of youth.'

He claims he now ages every 19 months and has reversed his biological age by five years in total - traveling to the island to edit his DNA in an effort to live forever.

Along with some members of his Blueprint team, Johnson traveled to Roatan to undertake the treatment, claiming that in a test conducted on mice, the rodent who had undergone the gene therapy lived for 30 per cent longer.

He revealed the procedure involves a shot in the stomach and buttocks.

Johnson reported that three weeks after his treatment, his follistatin levels had increased by 160 per cent, which was the target objective of the treatment.

Previously, the millionaire mogul also recently shared a bio-breakthrough, claiming he had reduced his aging process by a rate of 0.64, which he says is his 'personal best.'

'That roughly means that for every 12 months that pass I only age for 7.6 months now,' gushed the entrepreneur, who claims to have turned back the clocks by five years.

According to Johnson, an important part of reducing his age is to do with his diet, which he and his team have coined the Blueprint diet.

The health guru - who claims he is the 'most measured person in history' - has spent million of dollars attempting to reverse his physical age.

He claims he now has the heart of a 37-year-old, the skin of a 28-year-old, and the fitness of an 18-year-old after first adopting the highly-regimented program in 2020.
