Donald Trump has announced son Barron has decided where he will go to college - as he praised his youngest son attending his first political rally on Tuesday night.

Barron Trump, 18, joined his brothers, Eric and Don Jr., a campaign event in Doral, Miami, where Donald Trump has a golf club. The trio sat together in the front row.

Trump introduced all three of his sons to the crowd, saying that it was 'the first time' Barron joined them and gave hints about the teenager's future amid reports Barron is interested in politics.

'A very young man who's now going to college,' Trump said of Barron.

'Got into every college he wanted to and he made his choice. And he's a very good guy, I'll tell you... He's a very special guy, Barron Trump.

'This is the first time he's ever done this.'

Barron is widely believed to be choosing between New York University, Georgetown, or the University of Pennsylvania

His mother, Melania, has decided not to move into the White House full-time while her son attends likely to not move into the White House for her son.

Barron graduated from high school in May.

Melania Trump's office did not respond to DailyMail.com's request for comment.

At Barron's first rally, he stood up and waved to the crowd, garnering massive cheers his father's faithful.

The former president has described Barron as fascinated by politics.

'He's really been a great student. And he does like politics. It's sort of funny,' Trump told 'Kayal and Company' on Philadelphia's Talk Radio 1210 WPHT in May.

'He'll tell me sometimes, 'Dad, this is what you have to do,'' he added.

Earlier this summer, Barron Trump declined Florida's offer to be a delegate to the Republican National Convention this summer.

A week after the state announced the 18-year-old would represent it at Donald Trump's nomination, Melania Trump's office announced Barron had 'prior commitments.'

'While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments,' the Office of Melania Trump said.

No further details were given.

It's unclear if Barron will even attend the convention, which takes place in Milwaukee from Monday, July 15 to Thursday, July 18.

Barron was at his father's 2016 presidential announcement and attended the Republican National Conventions in both 2016 and 2020.

He was not at his father's 2024 announcement at Mar-a-Lago.

In Trump's last two White House campaigns, Don Jr., Eric and Ivanka were heavily involved - speaking at their father's rallies and campaigning for him. Tiffany joined her siblings in the 2020 campaign but Barron stayed out of sight.

He was only 10 when his father became president.
