A Florida mother and her friend were seen smirking in their mugshot photos after being accused of drag racing with a baby in the car.

Jamirria Blunt, 22, and Kiara Johnson, 22, were arrested and charged with highway racing and child neglect, according to the Ocala Police Department, Fox8Live News reported.

Police said they observed the woman each in their own vehicles racing down the College Road driving well over the 45 miles per hour speed limit around 2 am on July 5.

An officer clocked the women at 93 miles per hour. After the car's were pulled over, Johnson's eight-month-old infant was found in the Toyota strapped into a rear-facing child seat.

The pair were booked into Marion County Jail and were each released on $1,000 bond.

Ocala Officer D. Barry first saw the Cadillac and Toyota speeding down the 3100 block of SW College Road early Friday morning.

The officer, using radar, recorded them both going nearly 50 miles over the 45mph speed limit in the traffic zone.

He trailed the vehicles before pulling over Blunt first, who was driving a Cadillac sedan. A 15-year-old passenger was found in the front seat.

It was not clear the relationship the juvenile and Blunt share.

Johnson's vehicle was then pulled over, and another officer from the department arrived on the scene to assist.

'Racing presents serious dangers, including increased risks of severe accidents and death,' police said in a press release.

'We have zero tolerance for highway racing and will do everything we can to ensure that our roads are safe.'
