Aaron Rodgers was bizarrely reminded of the Jets' expectations of him ahead of the fall as he had to comfort a crying fan begging for the team to win a Super Bowl next season.

The 40-year-old quarterback was playing at the American Century Championship on Wednesday in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, when the fan, a fully grown adult in a Jets jersey with Rodgers' No. 8 on it, approached him for a hug.

'I just want a Super Bow, Aaron!' the fan cried out while pumping his fists. 'Please!'

Amused, Rodgers walked away from the awkward encounter with a grin on his face.

The NFL star was among an array of celebrities at the annual golf event, bumping into Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams, Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce

Rodgers' appearance at the tournament comes after his unexcused absence from the Jets' mandatory minicamp for a reported trip to Egypt in June, which left team execs furious.

The four-time league MVP was also spotted at UFC 303 in Las Vegas on June 29, as he sat ringside not too far away from Donald Trump Jr.

But, to the crying fan's point, the Jets haven't made the playoffs since the 2010 NFL season, marking the longest active postseason drought among any major American sports league (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and MLS).

Furthermore, the Jets haven't reached the Super Bowl since winning Super Bowl LIII in 1969.

After trading for Rodgers last offseason, the Jets were projected to make a deep playoff run, entering the 2023 season with the seventh-best Super Bowl odds and a win total over/under 9.5.

However, Rodgers tore his Achilles on his fourth snap as the Jets' starting signal-caller in Week 1 against the Bills.

Watching the team on with Zach Wilson as the Jets' starting quarterback from the sidelines, the Jets finished with a 7-10 record for the second straight season.

Nonetheless, Rodgers will be looking forward to hitting the ground running ahead of the fall, when training camp kicks off in Florham Park, New Jersey, on July 23.
